Did anyone else notice that Allan Hanson and Bubba's girlfriend Amy seemingly dissapeared with no explanation? Were they ever mentioned again?

I think both characters' last appearances were on the same episode, the one when they are imagine what it would be like to be married--Iola and Vint, Mama and Mr. Hanson, and Bubba and Amy. I guess the relationships just didn't work out. Mama's Family wasn't very good with continuing storylines. That is why you can watch any episode you want any time and not worry about having to follow a sequence of events. Most episodes have an independent theme.

I really liked Mr. Hansen but keeping his character continuing in the show would no doubt have led to Mama remarrying which would not have worked! The whole premise of the show would have changed! ohno:

Another character who was talked about but never seen again was Louann Fayette. I'm glad that they didn't make her a recurring character because frankly, she was just too annoying!:crazy:

Definately agree with that :nod: She was funny when Mama would mention her, but not as an actual character appearing on the show.

Yeah. That is like the time where Thelma said that Cousin Cora could stay with them, until she got a place of her own--- She was never seen or mentioned again. :rolleyes:

And come to think of it, I don't recall seeing Roselle on the show. :rofl:
