I saw the first part of this extended episode when it came out, but now I have no interest in reviewing the series again so I'd like to ask if anyone reading this could tell me what happened to Marie Osmond's character?
She a sheltered Italian girl on a Mediterrean cruise with her battling grandparents (played by Ernest Borgnine and Shelly Winters) and her maiden aunt on her way to Marie's arranged marriage. Natch, she gets the complication of falling in love with a handsome stranger and must make the decision of whether to defy her family for love. .. but I have the feeling the 'stranger' is truly her betrothed who wants her to love him on her own instead of just marrying him to please her family. Am I right? Anyway, if anyone who remembers this episode can let me know what happened, please reply! Thanks!
