Peace None; I am amusing that was just a promotional photograph for the two shows that were both aired on Thursday night:) TVFactFan 02-14-2004, 10:20 PM Originally posted by orion105 There is a still of the "welcome Back Kotter" kids in barn's jail. Peace Yeah that was just a TV guide Ad for the Thusday night lineup since both shows aired back to back at 8pm and 8:30pm. But the two shows should have crossed over because both shows was Set in the same city and aired on the same night. Kotter was set in Brooklyn and Barney Miller was set in Greenwich Village; I think it would be an brillant episode if they did cross over Welcome Back, Kotter and Barney Miller and having the Sweathogs arrested at the 12th..... orion105 02-15-2004, 03:16 PM Darn, how depressing. Some of you have seen the entire Barney Miller series and know for a fact this was only a still picture? That's too bad, because it was only natural, convenient, and would have been a cool episode..On kotter they were going to have groucho marx on the show but his "caretaker" wouln't allow it unless she was highly paid off...What members of the Barney cast are still alive today? DetectiveGriffin 04-15-2004, 07:33 PM It would make a great story, are you gonna write it for us? :) orion105 07-26-2004, 05:38 PM Well, I would like to see a "Welcome Back Kotter" high school reunion movie, cuz EVERYBODY but Mr. Woodman is still alive, last I heard, but Travolta doesn't want to do it. I'll write it if they agree to it, heh. Lady T 07-28-2004, 02:14 AM Originally posted by orion105 Darn, how depressing. Most of them, except for James Gregory (Luger) and Jack Soo (Yemana), and Florence Stanley, who played Bernice Fish... megamanj2004 04-27-2005, 07:11 PM It's kind of ironic seeing a promotional poster of WBK on a jail cell b/c both BM & WBK were both taped at ABC Television Center. BTW, where did the early 1975 eps of BM tape at, b/c yesterday I was watching the credits of the first season and it just read "Videotaped Before A Live Audience" as opposed to being read as "Videotaped At ABC Television Center" like most of the later eps. were. Same case for WBK's run and first season, but in the case of WBK, the first season eps. were taped at NBC Studios, the same home as its' sister show "Chico and the Man", but relocated to ABC-TV, b/c NBC studios was crowded by that point. caladon 08-09-2010, 04:42 PM I realize this thread is over 5 years old, but I just picked up a pretty cool item on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400133790843 And it reminded me of this thread. So I thought I'd add some hopefully useful information about the picture of The Sweathogs in the 12th Precinct's jail. It turns out that The Sweathogs have been arrested for stealing Barney Miller's time slot. catlover79 08-10-2010, 01:03 AM ^ Cute!! angiefan 08-11-2010, 06:55 PM I never saw that before.:happyface |
