Done in N@N style, this thread is for my imaginary television channel. Why? Because I'm out of ideas for other threads, and I'm in the mood to type.

As a requirement for my channel, all shows have to be completed. I don't want any shows that are currently in their original run.

TV Adam's Channel Launch Marathon

Sunday: February 15th 2004

It's the 1st episodes of all of our series. Watch as ALF crash-lands into the Tanner's garage. Watch as Balki first meets his Cousin Larry. Watch as Cory deals with life for the first time. Don't miss the kid's reactions to finding out Frank and Carol are married! Catch Dave Nelson's first day at WNYX. Look out for the reunion of brothers Joe and Brian Hackett. Watch Ellen (with a longer hairdo) dealing with her driver's license. Go back to when the Two Guys and the Girl also had a Pizza Place. And last but not least, our resident "Classic", watch Elaine's first day as a cabbie.
And once you've watched all of the first episodes, stay tuned and watch them all again, as we replay them through the night!

In Alphabetical Order:

when the " * " is in front of or behind a year, that means the character came mid season. Or the first season was a mid season replacement and the character came at the beginning of the second season. (Example: "Ellen" start mid season in 1994. Joely Fisher joined the show at the beginning of the second season in 1994. So for her it says *1994-98.)

when the " * " is in front of a character's name, that means they're an occasional character. I'm following (or copying) the way that the Tim Brooks and Earle Marsh TV book goes.

The Thomas Haden Church - A - Thon

Hosted by Thomas Haden Church.

Debra Messing (Stacey Colbert) and David Schramm (Roy Biggins) make brief cameos during the intro scenes.

Thomas Haden Church: Hello to all 6 of you watching TV Adam's Channel. I'm Thomas Haden Church. For five and a half seasons I played the dumb, loveable mechanic Lowell Mather on "Wings". Then I gave that up to play the smart, pompous Ned Dorsey on "Ned & Stacey". Tonight I want you all to sit back, relax and watch as both Lowell and Ned join forces to make you laugh. In this, Thomas Haden Church - A - Thon.

**
These intros to the commercials get played during almost every commercial break in the marathon.
**
Thomas Haden Church: I'm still Thomas Haden Church and you're still watching my marathon. Now we're heading for a rough patch of cheesy, crappy commercials. I'm told these are unavoidable. But stay right where you are, and they will be over soon.

Thomas Haden Church: It's me again. You survived the commercials and now back to the show.

**
**
Thomas Haden Church: Hey, I'm Thomas Haden Church and this is my "Ned & Stacey" co-star, Debra Messing.

Debra Messing: Hi everybody.

Thomas Haden Church: Sadly, "Ned and Stacey" was Debra's only near-popular show.

Debra Messing: Um, actually I star in "Will & Grace". It's on NBC and doing quite well.

Thomas Haden Church: Hmm ... "Will & Grace"? Doesn't ring a bell. (to the viewers) Obviously poor Debra's gone crazy after the cancellation of our fine show. Oh well, at least she still has her looks.

**
**
Thomas Haden Church: I don't know about you, but I'm really enjoying this marathon. And so is David Schramm. You know, Roy from "Wings".

David Schramm: Yes, of course I'm enjoying this marathon. I love to look back at myself throughout my years on "Wings".

Thomas Haden Church: (Angry) You love to look back at YOURSELF! You should be looking back at me. Afterall, it's a Thomas Haden Church - a - thon. Not a David Schramm - a - thon. (to the viewers) I hate people who only think of themselves.

**
**

8:00pm Wings
058. Mathers of the Heart: Lowell decides to ask Helen out on a date. Once they go, she ends up liking him, while Lowell finds her boring.

8:30pm Wings
061. It's So Nice to Have a Mather Around the House: After Brian accidentally sinks Lowell's boat-house, Lowell moves in with Joe and Brian and plays housekeeper.

9:00pm Ned & Stacey
01. Ned & Stacey: In order for Ned to get a promotion and for Stacey to get a life, they decide to get "married".

9:30pm Ned & Stacey
02. Portrait of a Marriage: Ned and Stacey have their firstcorporate party. However, Stacey is upset by the past Ned has written for her.

10:00pm Wings
072. Goodbye, Old Friend: After a long time friend of Lowell's dies, he tries to write the eulogy for his funeral.

10:30pm Wings
075. Bye, Bye, Bunny: Lowell officially divorces Bunny. Afterwards the couple begin to act like newlyweds.

11:00pm Ned & Stacey
024. The End?: Ned and Stacey decide to set eachother up on dates. When Stacey falls in love with her date, it results in Ned throwing her out of the apartment.

11:30pm Ned & Stacey
025. The Other End: With Ned and Stacey now living apart, Ned's work begins to suffer. Meanwile, Stacey moves in with her boyfriend.

12:30am Ned & Stacey

Ratings for Ellen have remained the lowest for our network. Although we will keep it on at 4am, the 11pm slot will have to go. In it's place, we are welcoming the 1970's sitcom "Chico and the Man" to our lineup. Instead of the 5am showing of Ned & Stacey, we will be replacing that with the repeat of 11's "Chico and the Man".

8:00pm ALF

4:30am Two Guys and a Girl (repeat of 11:30)
5:00am Chico and the Man (repeat of 11)
5:30am Taxi (repeat of 12:30)

Unlike N@N which keeps moving foward, we keep moving backwards, throughout the years.

Chico and the Man

Cast: 88 episodes

:rotflmao: If your network was actually real, Ellen wouldn't have low ratings. You put Ellen up against unknown unfunny sitcoms, ex. Ned & Stacey.

I'm a big "Ellen" fan and I'm as upset as you are about the ratings. ;)

Actually, I'm just picking shows at random to move around the schedule. If my channel was real, Ellen wouldn't be the lowest rated show.

Actually, it would be the downfall of the channel if it aired nothing but reruns of Full House, The Cosby Show and Charmed. Right now, it's fine.

Thanks, Sitcomwriter.

Skipping ahead now to December.

We've gotten a big boost in ratings and have now decided to purchase other shows.

"Ned & Stacey", which left our lineup in September is back for now. The late late shift will be filled with classic Sid and Marty Krofft shows.

Also, effective January 1st, we no longer have the rights to air ALF. We are working on getting it back. And one day hope to return this classic to our network.

It's now March 2005. More changes have been made to our schedule. Many viewers have e-mailed us wanting "Step by Step" and "Boy Meets World" at better timeslots. Well ... We're giving you what you want.

"Ned & Stacey" is now offically off our channel. It's had a bumpy ride, but the 46 episode sitcom will not be coming back.

Also, our short contract with the Krofft shows is up. So sadly, "H.R. Pufnstuf", "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters", and "Land of the Lost" are off the schedule.

From 2am to 6am, we are filling our network with classic shows. "Taxi" and "Chico and the Man" are joining "The Monkees", "Dennis the Menace", "The Munsters", "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis", "Car 54, Where Are You?" and "Mister Ed". Our contract with those shows are only for a few months. So get out those imaginary tapes. ;)

Yeah, but only because you added The Facts of Life. LucyFan is still stuck back in 2001 with his fake channel, and he would never add The Facts of Life or Ellen, so his channel is no good for me. Plus he dropped Phyllis :cuss:

Sitcomwriter used a lot of unkown sitcoms and some that only lasted 4 episodes. I don't know about any of you, but I'd get sick of seeing the same 4 episodes of a show every week.

All February long, every Saturday night will be marathons.

Two Girls, a Guy and a Bistro
It's a "Three's Company" marathon featuring episodes with Jack and his restaurant. (Yes the title came from our late show "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place")

These Friends of Mine Marathon
All 13 episodes of "Ellen's" Freshman season. Then titled, "These Friends of Mine," in syndication the opening credits have been redone with the title "Ellen". For this marathon, we use the orginal opening.

A tribute to Phil Hartman by featuring some of his best episodes.

Take a Cab, not a Plane Marathon
As "Wings" leaves TV Adam's Channel, we are also bringing "Taxi" back to our channel. So we show some of the best "Wings" episodes as well as "Taxi" episodes.

The "NewsRadio" Reunion:
Dave Foley, Maura Tierney, Stephen Root, Joe Rogan, Vicki Lewis, and Khandi Alexander look back at the series. Also a special tribute to Phil Hartman, the late actor who died during the show's run. Andy Dick and Jon Lovitz refused to join in the special.

The "Cheers" Reunion:
Ted Danson, Shelley Long, Rhea Pearlman, George Wendt, John Ratzenberger, Kelsey Grammer, Woody Harrelson, Kirstie Alley and Bebe Neuwirth (sp?) get together to talk about their series. (Hint Hint, "Cheers" just might be coming to TV Adam's Channel!)

The "Step by Step" Reunion:
Patrick Duffy, Suzanne Somers, Sasha Mitchell as well as all seven Lambert/Foster kids (grown up, of course) look back on their show as well.
