I just saw this news on Yahoo.com. The Celtics waived him. Vin Baker is a sad basketball player. How could he mess up a big contract they gave him? All he had to do was stay away from alcohol & go to his AAA meetings & he couldn't even do that. He'll be lucky if somebody picks him up. I used to like him when he played for Milwaukee. When he went to Seattle, he wasn't consistent like he was in Milwaukee. I remember reading a article about him where he said when he was in Seattle, he was depressed all the time & that's when his drinking problem started. I thought he had gotten his act together when he had some good games for the Celtics earlier this season.

Danny Ainge has messed up the team since he started workin in front office. Antoine Walker should've never been traded & Eric Williams & Tony Battie should've never been traded. Paul Pierce is a selfish player & he shoots too many bad shots. That's why his field goal percentage is so low. The Celtics need a center bad cause Mark Blount isn't a center. As long as Mark is the starting center, the Celtics will get pounded in the middle. The players on the Celtics also shoot too many jumpshots & they act like they're scared to take it to the basket. They don't have any inside players. Ricky Davis has really let me down since he came to Boston. He's not scoring as much like he was in Cleveland & Paul needs a 2nd scorer to help him out so he won't have to do so much.
