very good episode i love it

A very good one for me, too. A good way to start the series, by reminding us that even as we prepared to explore outer space, our "inner space" (our consciousness and human nature) was fundamentally as much a mystery to us as ever. I would guess that that will always be true. That's The Twilight Zone for you, hitting the bulls-eye right between "the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge."

Extremely well done ep. Looking at it now that I am a grownup, however, it is the filming of just a guy walking through a backlot of a studio. The backlot was never again seen on TZ as the pilot was filmed at Universal rather than the MGM studios the regularly produced eps were made by.

Very good episode and a favorite of mine.
