View Full Version : Sheetz
Bang A Gong 02-13-2004, 03:39 PM Sheetz rocks. It is a gas station convenience store that sales a variety of subs [called MTOs = Made To Order], sandwhiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. They have a little coffee bar for coffee and cappuccino [I am drinking one of their cappuccinos at this very moment]. They have aisles for candy and chips and baked goods and such and a huge case for Krispy Kreme donuts, as well as freezers full of ice cream and drinks and stuff like that.
I know that Sheetz is only in a few states. There is one right down the road from my house and one in a local town, so I'm pretty much surrounded by them. I'ts a great convenience store. I am always buying stuff from there.
Anyone else have a Sheetz nearby? Do you like it?
Ewan's My Man 02-13-2004, 04:08 PM I have a Sheetz, I've seen Sheetz's in most places I've been...
We actually, here, in Hickville have the number one Sheetz on the East Coast. At least, that's what it was last time I heard.
phoebe7165 02-13-2004, 04:13 PM I'm very familiar with Sheetz. There's none where I live but I go up north alot for my job. They remind me alot of Wawa, a c-store(oh, but alot more than a regular c-store, if you ask me) mainly in PA, NJ, & MD.
Rhiannon 02-13-2004, 04:34 PM I've never heard of Sheetz.

*Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-13-2004, 06:19 PM We don't have those. We have nice 'n easy's and mobile or whatevers... I'm always afraid some guys gonna come in there whenever I go into one and try to shoot people and rob it like they always do on tv. :)
Nanny Fine 02-13-2004, 10:42 PM We have 7 Sheetz in my town. SEVEN. I love them.
When I had my car fire in October I had been to Sheetz that morning for a Vanilla Capuccino (love em!). The cup was in my car still when it caught on fire. The entire front portion of my car melted - I mean you couldn't even see the dash, steering, nothing. But you knwo what withstood all that fire and heat?
The Sheetz styrofoam Cappucino cup. I think they are made of steel.
#1_Nancy_McKeon 02-14-2004, 12:05 AM I've never heard of them, but basically all our Gas Station/ Minimarts have everything you described in them.

EricIdlefan 02-14-2004, 03:17 AM Never heard of that unless it is used in "vain" on tv and/or movies!!

Sterling Holobyte 02-14-2004, 03:28 AM Well, sometimes when I eat convenience store food, I get the "sheetz"! Does that count?;)

Seven? Must be a pretty big town.
French Vanilla cappuccinos are the best. I always pour a bunch of those little chocolate packs in mine. I think I'm going to drive down later on and get a cappuccino.
That's crazy that the cup didn't burn. And that sucks about your car. But at least you got your cappuccino for the day.
Mijada 02-14-2004, 06:33 PM I've never heard of them. Sounds pretty cool though.
