I noticed that women in my dept confused professional appearance with being sexy. Do you think it's appropiate for Women to wear

Calf Boots in the Office or Knee Boots?

IMO that type of foot wear is for a club or outside of the office. Who agrees?

I think a lot of women (not all) dress sexier to stand out in hopes for raises or promotions, or just pure attention. I think, as long as they stick to the guidlines, its fine.

When I worked at a grocery store I had to wear black shoes and no other color and/or no color on the black shoes just pure black. When I worked at another store, I wore dress shoes because customers thought that was much more cleaner!!

I had to do some sleuthing of my own...I searched "The Today Show" on IMDb, looked under crew there...the only listing for a PA there is some guy who was a PA the 1996-97 season....that's it.

I wear snow boots at work, so I can't comment. :lol: I go outside too much to wear fancy shoes.

And there is no one at my work to impress anyway.

I personally don't see anything wrong with it, as long as they aren't too high heeled, and are worn with a classy skirt....not a mini. I mean, a decent below-the-knee length skirt with boots like that is ok.

Just as long as it isn't offensive to someone's race, color, creed, sexual preference, gender, it is ok with me!!

As long as its worn with something conservative it should be ok. if they wear them with a mini skirt and tube top theres a problem.
