Does anyone have any idea how many stories the apartment was? Or how many apartments were on each floor? Also...did their apartment face the beach?

Just curious, if anyone has any input on this.

I assume it only had three stories, otherwise there would have been an elevator.

I don't know, so I can only venture a guess, but I don't think the apartment faced the beach. If it did, I think they would make references to that fact, unless they did and I missed it.

Didn't Jack say something like, "How did you manage to get here from three blocks?" and Mrs. Roper replied with, "Faster than you can imagine." In Good Old Reliable Janet. So..They were a couple of blocks away from the beach?
