Have the soundtracks to the series ever been released on DVD?
I had the tapes of songs from the series back in the '80's, but I played them so much they have worn out long ago!:( I loved those songs!

If you mean dvd, no. If you mean cd, there is an album called "Kids From Fame" available. Do a search on ebay.

I still have my 4 kids From Fame cassettes from when I was a teen in the 80's. I loved some much when I was a teen and I still love it just as much today. I got the CD Ultimate Fame which has some songs from the movie, The kids From Fame and the UK stage show Fame. I got it on Amazon.

Lee Curreri recently re-recorded four songs that he sang and played on the show ("Can We Be Magic Like You", "Alone in the Crowd", "Murphy Blues" and "False Alarm") and they are up for sale on iTunes. It's $3.96 for all of them together.

For those who said he couldn't sing back in the days of the TV show, his voice has matured and enriched. He doesn't have much vocal range, but he knows how to stay within its boundaries and not overreach his vocal abilities.

I think Fame fans would be interested, and it's cheap enough to take a chance on.

P.S. Sorry, the Shorofsky song is nowhere to be found.

I CANNOT believe they did NOT include "MANNEQUIN" in that CD?!! That was a great song from a great episode!
