.... to have their own spinoff.



From what "VH1: Goes Inside FRASIER" says.... everyone thought that Norm & Cliff were going to have their own spinoff.
But as we all know.... Frasier won that honor.



Im just wondering for those who watched the show originally.... do you ever remember hearing about a "Norm & Cliff" show??


And even if you did or didnt....


WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?!

I never heard that until last night.

It just came out of nowhere....
but I guess they realized that anything with Norm or Cliff would HAVE to include Cheers.... so a spinoff would never work.


Sam, Diane, Rebecca, Carla, Norm, and Cliff could never have a spinoff. They HAD to be at Cheers.


But Woody, Lilith and obviously FRASIER would work perfectly in a spinoff.

It would be a weird spin-off because they never left the bar! It would be like cheers only centered more around them!~

Ah, but what our younger posters here who weren't around back then don't realize, Carla *did* get her own spin-off, The Tortellis. She, Nick, and Loretta move in together, lasted about one-season, often referred to as an early, unappreciated Married With Children type show.
