Based on what ive heard so far, the top 2 contendors from each group, in my opinion are:

Week 2: Matthew Rogers, Briana Ramirez-Rial (with maybe Camile Velasco and Lisa Leuschner in 3rd and 4th)

Week 3: John Maonaunu and .. im not sure about who i like 2nd best. However, i like Eric Yoder, John Peter Lewis, and Elizabeth LeTendre a little.

Week 4: My top 2 so far from this group are Amy Adams and Heather Piccinini. This group appears to be the hardest one. Also, people are speculating that Jasmine Trias might actually be FOX's "surprise", because people have heard that she's one of the best best best. The judges even said "Theres this 16 year old from Hawaii, with braces that sang 'i will love you' as good as Whitney". And, this isnt really a great source, but someone found an excerpt from someplace, from some person that was in the Hollywood auditions, that specifically said that Jasmine Trias is up to par with Kelly Clarkson. Im really anxious for her performance... theres all this hype for her on other boards.

I thought Lisa was the best of the second group, too. I liked Matt Rogers second. I think he just didn't pick a good song but he was somewhat decent compared to most of the others in Group 2.

I don't see Noel and Jesus getting through. I think Randy was right in saying that they might have made a mistake putting them through as far as they did. I can't believe they chose them over Scooter Girl. :rolleyes: But I think Scooter Girl might come back and I would not be surprised if she does.

That group was so bad, it was almost funny. I liked when Simon said if they had charged admission, people would be asking for a refund.

The worst ones were those Puerto Rican brothers. They couldn't carry a tune in a bucket! They looked smug and cocky, but they couldn't sing worth a crap!

those are the best outta those. Round 2 was such a waste. They mixed these groups up poorly. Such good singers in rounds 1 and 4.

There apparently was a change in who is performing next week. Amy Adams is performing next week, not on Week 4 as it said. That group looks better. I like Amy, John Peter Lewis (I think he is "the pen salesman", as Simon called him), and Eric Yoder (who Simon said sounded like Clay Aiken)

I liked Charly Lowry from group 3.

Great voice, Great looks and Great personality. Her accent is a bit weird, but other than that I say she was the best in the group.

Latoya was good too.

Latonya and Jon. Altho my third choice is amy.

My favorites were Eric Yoder and Jon Peter Lewis. I also like Amy Adam's voice. I think she'll make the top 2 tomorrow.

Latoya was by far the best of the night. She will make the top 2.

I am rooting for Elisabeth, but I don't know if she'll make the cut. I think it is likely Amy will take the 2nd spot this week.

I liked all from this group last night 2-24-04 but it's going to be hard for the big guy because Ruben won last year and also for the guy who reminds Simon of Clay Aiken. It's like they don't want the same types to win again.

I loved Jon Peter Lewis, too. But he did really well in the voting...maybe he'll be back for wild card *crosses fingers* He looked like such a sweetheart, too!

Me too! Amy was my favorite last night (in fact she might possibly my favorite out of everybody so far) but I think John was my second favorite. I thought he sounded really good. He's got a really unique voice and I didn't really like how Simon said he doesn't see him as an American Idol. WELL, things change! I mean look at Clay Aiken....from when he auditioned to the way he is now...well his image has reaaaaaally changed. So I don't know why Simon keeps on saying to people that they don't "look" like an American Idol...everybody knows that people will change throughout the competition.

And yeah I saw that they zoomed up on Leah...lol kinda mean on their part.

I love this board. I missed AI last night so I didn't get to see who made it through. Its nice to know that I can come here to find out who made it.

I really wanted John Peter Lewis to make it. I really like Eric yoder too. Latoya did an awsome job though, I figured she would make it. For some reason I don't remember which one Amy Adams is, I guess I must not have thought much of her if I don't remember which one she is.:crazy:
