A few months ago, I developed this zit under my left eye. It was big and red. Well, it never seemed to go away. About two months after I got it, t faded from red and shrunk into this little whiteish/tannish bump. I thought that was weird. What was even weirder is that about a week later I was looking at it in the mirror and these two tiny black dots were in it. So now I have this little bump with two black dots in it under my eye. I want to pick at it, but I am afraid that's not a good idea.

Does anyone know what it could be? It's really bothering me. Do you think I should pick at it? Squeeze it? Try to pick the black things out?

Hmm.. doesnt sound like a zit- who would have one for that long? Maybe its some sort of infection of some sort. Hope its nothing bad!

I think you should leave it alone and see a doctor, just to be safe.

It might be a wart, so I'd have it checked out if I were you. A cousin of mine had one a few years back and she had to have it removed with laser surgery.

Make an appointment with your doctor. The worst thing you can do is self diagnose.

See the eye doctor or a regular doctor.
BTW you can pm Ewans my man for advice,Ewans dad
happens to be an eye doctor and Ewan can ask him
questions for you,did for me.But if you don't want to
get advice online call the eye doctor's office in your city.

That's what I was going to see. The black dots are seeds.

And since it's so close to your eye, the over the counter stuff probably won't work. Most of that stuff says don't put near eyes. And it doesn't work anyway.

You're a strange drink of water, you know that? Yes..pick at it and get an infection under there. Use a melon-baller. Seriously, basic common sense should tell you that you shouldnt have a skin blemish for MONTHS without having it checked out by a Doc.

Seeds? Ew, that's pretty gross.

How about a cheese grader? Would that work better?

Thanks Czas na Zywiec and dawsongirl for telling me that it could be a wart and that the black things were seeds. I just did a Google search on it and found a lot of websites with descriptions of warts and stuff on them and on all the ones that I found, the description exactly matched the thing on my face. So I guess it's a wart.

Also, thanks JoCool for suggesting that I talk to EMM about it.
