View Full Version : Where's Debra's support
Contributor 02-11-2004, 12:56 AM Double standard Debra strikes again.
Debra constantly seems to badger Raymond about his lack of support for her, but she doesn't make an effort to be supportive for him.
Another example is the episode concerning the detestable 8 year-old kid. Debra has no problem as long as Raymond is the sole target of the 8 year-old's disrespect.
Debra ought to remember how often she strikes out in her opportunities to show support for Raymond before she whines about him not supporting her.
SPLAIN 02-18-2004, 03:31 PM Debra needs a personality makeover, although she is slowly getting a little better.
Brian Damage 02-18-2004, 03:47 PM I love Deb.
SPLAIN 02-18-2004, 03:53 PM I love all the characters on the show, but the writers should allow Deb to tell off her mother in law and throw her out of the house at least once before the show folds and Ray should be allowed, actually, it finally happened a few weeks ago, when he told her to stop making fun of him with the kids and stop calling him IDIOT! I thought that was great, FINALLY!
Janice 03-03-2004, 03:29 PM Debra can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. I think she is sheer perfection.
She's surrounded by idiots, but Debra is perfect!!

All right Brian, how did you hack into Janice's computer?
;)
There is a little much rampant Debra hatred going around lately.
Ray gets away with murder, and his continuing self-centered nature has made Debra a more bitter and less forgiving person.
Though she still tries her best to be understanding.
I really like Debra and Patrica Heaton nails the role to perfection.

You're so right dlemond. I agree with everything you wrote.
Debra is wonderful. If she acts mad, it's all Raymond and his crazy family's fault. She married the wrong guy.
Brian Damage 03-03-2004, 03:57 PM  Janice is just a very smart, supportive and beautiful woman just like Debra. ;)

We know that she's the best mother. I bet if Redbook magazine polled their readers, that Debra Barone would be voted the best wife too!
Ray is so lucky to have her, the Mommy's boy. Cut those apron strings Raymond!
