The link above is a recent article mentioning the murder of Megan Curl. In March of 2000, the body of the 26-year-old Texas woman was found tied to a bed in her apartment. The case was profiled on UM less than two years later (at the end of the 2001 season).
According to the article, evidence from the scene is being re-tested for DNA. The results from the initial tests didn't find a link to Tommy Blaine Purvis, who, in June of 2003, died of injuries he sustained from a fall. Nonetheless, Purvis has not been ruled out as a suspect in the case. Although the police are looking into other possible suspects, they suspect Purvis because he was Curl's ex-boyfriend, and he very abusive to her.
