Actually I think the spelling Ann is the most common. Anne is also popular, but they're both right. :)

Yeah! My dad (who is 100 % German) named me after the German song "Lily Marlene" But unfortunately everyone who meets me for the first time thinks my name is either Maureen or Marilyn! Let me tell you.......... That gets old! Tell me please!............... Why is "Marlene" such a hard name to remember?!

 I feel your pain. My brother has a very German name, Karsten. People always go "Kirsten?" "Kristen?" and he gets so ticked off. I also had a roommate named Marta, who was always called "Martha." People, listen!

-*Leah*- 02-10-2004, 10:44 PM Umm, I like all forms of this name - Cayden, Kayden, Caiden, Kaiden...(however I decide to spell it, but I like Caiden), and the middle name would more than likely be Elizabeth. I also like Jordan, Harmony, and Emily for girls names. And I also think Calle is a very pretty name.:)
For boys, I like Hayden, again it could be Haiden too...umm Parker, and Taylor.
~*Hannah_Lee*~ 02-11-2004, 01:49 AM I like the names Brooklyn Mercedes Lee and Brayden Elijah Rafe for my future kids (possibly). But I also like the name Mercedes and Elijah by themselves, as a first name. I also like Farris and Sadie for girls. I like Ellis, Calan, and Torin for boys, too...any unique, simple name I like!

Yeah, that's all fine and good but think of your kids! What will they have to live with? Of course, most people hate their names anyway so whatever we name our kids they won't like anyway right?
If I ever have a son, I'm going to name him after one of my persoanal idols, a man of great strength and character...
Shatner!
And if it's a girl, probably Mary or something...
;)
phoebe7165 02-13-2004, 04:59 PM I don't even think I'm able to have kids, but if I did:
Girls-Paige Elizabeth(I always liked the name Paige and Elizabeth is my middle name
Shannon Rose(I always liked Shannon, too, and Rose is my grandmother's, mother's & sister's name)
Boys-just 1-Andrew David(Andrew is my dad's name, and I like it, and David is the name of a great friend of mine who died way too young). I would name him David Andrew but one of my cousins named one of her sons David, plus her husband's name is David, so to avoid confusion!!
