Her Dad's there
They prove that Ronnie is still a member of the family
They mention "the divorce"
Raina's baseball boyfriend is back
And proof that Ben still walks the face of this Earth...

Wow, Lifetime must have finally gotten a clue...

No, I don't really get into award shows. I was watching TD like the faithful addict I am. I'll watch it sometime at my friend's house tho. She tapes every award show under the sun.

what i found weird was that on the invitation 4 ronni's wedding it siad Ronnie and whatever the guys name was not Veronica. Like my cousin got married and we call him Dan but the invite said Daniel

Maybe Lifetime isn't so clueless as we all thought. I didn't mind Ronnie not being there. It was cool that they mentioned all of these things that haven't been mentioned for a while.

Though it would've been even better to hear Ben say "First I get cancer, now you guys are getting a divorce? Life sucks."

I hated how they changed the person who was playing Johnny though. I liked the old one better.

(OT...I'M SO HAPPY EVANESCENCE WON BEST NEW ARTIST! THEY DESERVE IT)

I wanted Ben to just let her have it and call her a whore.

BEN: What did you do you beeeach?
MAGDA: Aye Papi! You called me the B word!
BEN: You cheap floozy. Learn to keep your legs closed, slut bag.
MAGDA: Benjamin! Why are you talking to me like this?
BEN: I don't know, Ma. Could be all that synthetic heroine I took. You know, when I suddenly disappeared into thin frickin' air within these past few months.
MAGDA: Aaaaaaaaye! Where did you get synthetic heroine?
BEN: Jinny gave it to me! She was all, 'Here's some Oxyconton, bitch. Now chase it with this bottle of Jack Daniels.'
MAGDA: *Wags finger* <insert long sentence full of Spanish words that I don't understand here>

Seriously, I wanted Ben to just freak out on her. It would have been great. I don't like Magda.

Okay, have you ever been through a divorce?

I have. Its not the easiest thing to choose between your parents even if only one of them is truly at fault. Its hard to understand everything when you're so young. You grow up thinking that your parents' marriage is all fine and dandy. And then one day they tell ya "Hey, we're getting a divorce!" Its not an easy thing to live through. You dont know who to trust or who to turn to because as far as you know, it could have been anybody's fault...even your own. So dont just assume that Ben should have flipped out on Mag. I'm pretty sure Mag didnt sit there and say "Hey Ben, I screwed some guy named Jonah and now me and your dad are getting a divorce." When you're in the middle of a situation like that, you dont know what the hell to believe anymore. And then of course, you end up being really ****ed up in the end because nobody told you the truth about anything. So I know where Ben's coming from. He probably hates both his parents but deep down he loves them too. Its a difficult and confusing situation...

So if you havent been there, dont assume. And if you have, try and remember what it felt like being there.

Oh my, I'm really sorry. If I offended you in anyway, I honestly didn't mean to. I know that divorce can really hurt a child. But for other kids, it doesn't hurt. In fact, for some of us, it's the solution. After years and years of putting up with the constant fights and abuse and having to live with a disgusting monster, a separation can be the answer to it all. No more having to hide out in your bedroom when this person comes home. No more being scared or confused or annoyed or stressed out. A wonderful ending to a ****** childhood. The one thing that you have been looking forward to since you first learned how to ride a bicycle.

But I do realize that for others it isn't the solution, but rather a big problem and I really do understand that.

Ever notice that Ben always seems to take Gabe's side? Like in season two when he freaked out on Magda about the binoculars and said she broke them because they were a gift from Gabe and she hated Gabe. Well in Play Ball, Ben took Gabe's side again. He automatically targeted Magda, saying, "What did you do?!" He seems like he is against her at times.

I guess the reason he always takes Gabe's side is because he is affraid he will leave again. Poor Mag though. She b*tches alot and can be a ho at times but I can imagain it must hurt for your kid to always be against you.

As for what will happen with Gabe, I voted he will go to Europe and we will never hear from him again. I would be glad. This new Gabe annoys me. I actually miss the other Gabe! I laughed at the way he said "Mag-DA".

Could be.

I don't really have any sympathy for Magda. She cheated and now she has to pay. She was going around feeling sorry for herself when she was doing wrong. And then she actually had the audacity to get angry with Gabe for not calling the marriage counselor. What right did she have to be upset with HIM? He didn't do anything wrong. Sometimes I really hate Magda. She can be so selfish.

I always caught on to the way the old Gabe said Magda's name too. To me, it sounded like he was saying "Mawg-Da".

I know what you mean about Magda being selfish. She is always jumping down someone's throat. I even felt bad for the way she always treated Lily! Lily tried to be nice to her but Magda would always pick a fight. Same with Gabe. She did that to Jinny too at times but not as bad as with Lily and Gabe.

and LMAO at "Mawg-da"! Thats exactly the way he says it!

It wasnt so much that you offended me I just wanted people to see the other side of it. And yes, I agree that divorce can be a wonderful ending to a really ****ed up childhood cuz I've been there. Thats pretty much where I stand at the moment. But divorce is really hard when you're young. My parents first separated when I was like 8 so yeah that was hard but then as I grew I was just so glad to have my dad the hell out of my life. So yeah, I can identify with both sides of the situation.

You felt sorry for Lily at times? Oh god, I thought I was the only one! Lily did her fair share of bad things, but I always ended feeling bad for her. And yes, she did try to be nice to Magda but Mag always gave her hell for it. Like when she came back for Mag's wedding but didn't go to the rehearsel thing because she was exhausted from her flight and Mag gave her the third degree. There was no need for that.

I understand that it can be really traumatizing if it happens to you at a young age. You aren't well equipped to cope with it. But as you get older it becomes easier to deal. Anyway, I'm really sorry that you had to go through that at a young age but I'm glad you're okay now. :)

I know about the young age part cause I was four when my parents divorced. And now I am learning about the older children part as I watch my daughters going thru it. Since I am divorced. Wow, hard to believe that it is true. I am really divorced and all. But it isn't any easier on the older children either. I see my 15 year old wanting what she once had back. So I believe divorce is hard no matter what age you are when your parents divorce. Just my two cents.

Although I haven't been able to stand Lily since she and Nate started going out, I, too, felt sorry for her a little before. For example, when she came for Magda's wedding and when she came to get tested to be a bone marrow donor for Ben, I felt bad the way Magda picked a fight with her for no good reason. Lily was doing something nice in both those situations, and Magda I think didn't like that.

It's a shame for Ben about the divorce. Like the poor kid hasn't been though enough.
