The other day, I was talking with a friend of mine in the middle of class (Believe it or not, the teacher's fairly leinient about that). He told another one of his trademark "dumbjokes" (you know, the ones that are so mindnumbingly dumb that you can't help but to laugh at the person). Anyway, it was so inane, that, right there in the middle of class, I wound up bursting out laughing, right there, while the teacher was explaining derivatives (it was Calculus class FWIW). Funny stuff.
Any of y'all ever been in a situation like that where you wound up bursting out loud laughing right there in a public place?
Whenever someone plays that Joan Osbourne song "One Of Us," I burst out laughing.
There is a truly disgusting X rated story behind it all, and I choose not to reveal it.
But my roommate and I have gotten some very strange looks when we both start laughing when that song is played in a bar.
And now that "One Of Us" is the theme song to "Joan Of Arcadia," I get a big laugh every time that show is on.
;)
vienna waits 02-08-2004, 09:51 PM Yeah at the symphony last week. I started thinking about what would happen if the sign above them all fell and I kept laughing about it. They were all playing very quietly too.
Rhiannon 02-08-2004, 09:52 PM I usually just laugh at my teachers because they're such morons.

haha, I do that sometimes, too. I mean, I'm extremely shy and all but I can laugh at my teachers. Once in math our teacher was explaining how in this one problem all the addition turns to subtraction and the other way around...and she goes "Like a sex change" And I started laughing, and no one else did...but I didn't care I just kept laughing everytime she said it. I'm easily amused
Rhiannon 02-08-2004, 10:02 PM What gets me the most is when my World History teacher can't even prnounce the names of Greeks in our books with the pronunciations right beside them, but then she has the nerve to tell us the book is wrong about something someone did. YEAH like she would know.
dawsongirl 02-08-2004, 10:06 PM Uh...probably. I'm always doing something weird like that.
fr00ti 02-08-2004, 10:09 PM Every time someone messes up saying a word, it cracks me up. I dont know why, but it's hillarious to me. Escpecially if it sounds funny when they mess up.
~LadyJess~ 02-08-2004, 10:51 PM I'm the type of person that if something really funny happens and everyone laughs, I will start thinking about it 10 minutes later after the moment has completly passed and start laughing out loud like an idiot all over again.

Janice 02-12-2004, 03:58 PM I used to have a long morning commute to work, and I would listen to Howard Stern's radio show. I used to feel like a nut laughing in my car alone, especially at red lights.
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 02-12-2004, 04:06 PM I laugh at everything! Man, if me and Amanda are out in public, all we have to do is look at someone, and we just start laughing for no apparent reason. I am very easily amused and sometimes cannot control it! LOl, I remember in 12th grade me and Amanda went on a yearbook fieldtrip (fun stuff there...) and we were in this big stadium like hall with a bunch of other yearbook students from other schools. God, it was the most boring thing we had ever gone to for school. Well, to pass the time by, we found lil cotton pieces and tissues and started ripping them up in lil pieces. During the speeches and stuff, we were blowing them one the peoples backs in front of us trying so hard not to scream. Then one of theguys in front noticed it was on his girls back or whatever and pulled them off lol. So we waited a few minutes and went at it again. It was all in their hair and backs. Ahaha it was the funniest thing.
EricIdlefan 02-12-2004, 06:36 PM I hate it when somebody is commanding everybody's attention and everybody doesn't like to hear that person and they start to whisper, make snide and uncalled for remarks and/or comments, and say stuff that even though the speaker pretends not to hear the people he does hear them and it is rude and disrespectful!!
