Ive read numerous times about Arrested Development being considered for DVD release and that "it'll be fun"

Definatly. That's one of the good things about this show: even if it is cancelled, it'll definatly be released on DVD because FOX loves it.

I would buy it even though i don't watch it much, i liked the eps i seen though.

I think even if Fox (or anyone else) doesn't pick up Arrested Development for another season, we'll see a first season dvd release. Shows that didn't get the ratings to last past season one find welcoming homes on dvd (My So Called Life, Freaks and Geeks). Fans are loyal and will support it. Plus, i think they'll promote it as an "uncensored" release, like the Chappelle's Show dvd, where the profane words that were bleeped on tv are unbleeped on the dvd.

It was nominated for an award, so that's definately a plus for a DVD.
