"what happend to the wiggle?"

a lady behind a veil hires bluemoon to find the man who disfugured her face because she really loves him. after telling her where he was, the man ends up dead.
thinking they caused the man to be killed they discover that the woman's husband is masquerading around as her. they argue and then on what to do next. they find him, he confessess and they pursue him through the hotel, the kitchen and, and end up getting their carpets cleaned as he gets captured.

dave and madddie "kiss and makeup" after an argument here. she realizes she needs him.
tidbit: when maddie is disguised as the lady at the hotel desk, the man who plays "paul" on "cheers" is seen as the deskclerk.

rating: 6

One of my all-time favorite episodes. I remember watching this one when it originally aired on ABC. I'm not sure, but is this the one where Maddie throws David out of her car, and he goes "Is it something I said"?

Another one of my favorite episodes. My favorite David line is when he says, "This is it, no one under 17 is admitted without a parent or guardian."

Dr. Jazz, this is not the episode where Maddie throws David out of the car. I can't recall the episode right now, I just know that it's in season 2 and it's when David says, "it's one of those S words".

I captured some pictures from this episode, I'm gonna post them here. I really liked this episode, specially the chase scene, haha sooo funny  with all the "ladys" falling with the wet floor. :D

This picture is from a wonderful moment, when Maddie enters David's office and he's with the money in his head...

that would be 'the next murder you hear' when david and maddie are in the car argueing about whether they should take a case of the 'dead' radio announcer who worked nights so he could 'boink' married women during the day.

a seriously creepy mystery made it hard to enjoy much of the episode and because so much time was spent on the mystery it made it hard for me to get to the good stuff. but i managed.

when they were in the office late at night fighting about the case the idea of 'partners' came up:

maddie:
i'd be better off in business by myself
david:
you really don't want to be partners with me, do ya?
maddie:
i need a partner-your a partner-if i could pick any partner would i pick you...i don't know.
david:
when i sit home at night thinking about the perfect person to compliment my complex personality your not the first to spring to mind.

this conversation was not about business. it was about them being a couple.

and of course, the kiss maddie gave to david on the cheek at the end, let this episode end wonderfully.

Did anybody notice they have used two types of musictunes for the chasescene in the hotel??
The one I have on video has different music than the one I downloaded.....
Strange.....

Well the fast part of the chase scene should be the William Tell Overture. I think there is a slower song playing when it first starts out.....

What other song are you hearing?

They keep playing that slower song on the downloaded epi I have......
The one I have on video plays the Wilhelm Tell Overture.
Funny eh?

I vaguely remember the music from the opening shower scene as being sort of haunting. It could be an original Alf Clausen piece. I remember the William Tell Overture from the chase scene more vividly.

I just watched this on abc1 and they ruined the chase scene  with a huge, long trailer break in the middle of it

I hate it when they do that!

When they showed "My Fair David" over here, they started the commercial in the middle of the banter-scene. The moment when they made the bet and Maddie walks out of the office WHILE TALKING...BANG commercial...Then we see David doing that weird thing behind her back.
I wasn't taping the commercials so I really had to be in time to tape that part, otherwise I missed the funniest part of the whole scene!

Just another example of why we need unedited DVDs! At least we won't have to worry about commercial breaks!! :D

Hey I thought abc1 was advertised as being ad-free.... what's up with that?

Tamm

abc1 is commercial free but they put 3 (or maybe 4) breaks in Moonlighting to trail their own channel :(
