This is a one post fanfic.I had to write a Valentine's Day story for my English class and when i wrote it, i decided to make a fic from it.I changed the names and there's a Jinny/Teddy fic.I wasn't sure if i should write CD/Nate or Jinny/Teddy,but a certain girl did me a favour and she wanted this fic to be Jinny/Teddy.Btw,this is a sad fic so make sure you have Kleenex. lol

Remember the white swans....
It was a sendoff evening.The hall was very loud and merry.The music was playing and the couples were dancing.Suddenly I saw a girl.She was facing her back to me and I saw her shoulders were shivering.Her eyes were filled with tears.I knew her,it was a girl who was going out with a guy named Teddy.I just stood there and didn’t’ know how to comfort her.I wanted to know what had caused her tears but I didn’t feel comfortable to ask her.She was wearing a white dress and white shoes. I guessed my silence bothered her so she looked at me and turned away.I saw a great pain in her eyes and finally asked:
“Why are you crying?What’s wrong?Did anyone hurt you?”
“Nobody hurt me”I heard her whispering.Then she threw herself on my shoulder and tearfully cried.
“Maybe I can help you?”I asked her.Tears were still streaming down her cheeks.Then she looked and me and said:
“I’ll tell you everything.The question is:would you like to listen to me.It’s a long story.My name is Jinny.When I was 15 we moved to this city.I had no friends so I was always alone.One afternoon I was sitting on the bench reading a book.Then I felt something was thrown to my shoulder.I looked around and saw a boy.He looked aggressive to me so I continued reading.Then he looked at me and said:
“You are beautiful and your eyes are beautiful as well”and spread his hand.I stood up and walked away.
“Don’t be mad!”he shouted “I didn’t know you take offence so easily!”
That evening I lied in my bed and thought about that boy.He seemed strange and funny to me.The next day I went to my grandmother.When I came back I had to go to school.I was walking through the corridors of the school and heard someone calling my name:
“Jinny!”
It was strange because I had no friends and acquaintances there.Suddenly someone grabbed my hand.It was him.
“Hey!I was looking for you!”
“Why?”I asked.
“I wanted to apologize .I’m Teddy”he said and smiled.
That was how our friendship started.After school he waited for me and walkled me home.He was a good friend.That’s how the two years passed.The New year was coming and I realized I felt something more for him than a fellowship.We decided to spend the New year together.Just the two of us.
“Jinny,I want to tell you something important”he said me the New Years Eve.
“What is it?”I asked curious.
“I want to tell you when the clock shows 24 “he said and smiled.
So I impatiently waited for out little celebration. We decided to spend the night at his home with his parents in the next room.When i came to him he led me to his room.Teddy ran to the Cristmas tree and exclaimed:
“This is a present for you.For both of us.”
“Time passed quickly and the clock hang was coming to 12.He gently embraced me and said:
“I love you Jinny.Very much.”
I just stood there not knowing what to do.
“What’s wrong?”he asked a little w orried.
“Nothing,nothing Teddy.I like you very much.Love?I don’t know. Have you ever heard about the love?”I asked.
“My father told me.Some time ago,when we lived in another city,there was a big lake.Two swans lived there.”
“You wanted to tell me about love and now you’re talking about the swans”I teased.
“It’s not funny.It’s sad.Listen and you’ll understand.People have always took care of those swans.One morning the swan was shoot and it died.The other swan stayed in the place where the swan died and then it rose up to the air.It flew around the lake,shut it’s wings and fell on the rocks.Falling,it sore screamed.People who saw that scene couldn’t hold their tears back.And now you decide if that was love.
“I’m sorry,Teddy.I understand this,but I’ll tell you the answer later.”I hugged him.That evening I was happy.
After that our friendship strengthened.Grils were jealous for me and said I was the most happy.I believed that too,but my happiness didn’t last.
I and Teddy spent the afternoon at our friend’s and when we came home we stood by the door and he asked:
“Can I kiss you?”
I stood there not knowing what to say.Then he embraced me and kissed passionately.
The next day he wasn’t at school.I was very worried.He had never done this before.He always told me if he didn’t go to school.After school I ran to his home.His mother opened the door.Her eyes were red from crying.
“What happened?”I almost shouted.
“He’s in the hospital”she said.
“What?”I whispered.
“Yesterday he was fine and now he’s not”Teddy’s’mother whispered and burst into tears.A few minutes later she spoke up:
“This morning he was found in the street.All beaten up”
‘What?When?Why?No,it’s not true.And what if…….’ I thought.No,everything had to be all right. I didn’t ever remember how I got home.I fell on my bed and lied without consciousness.Then i heard my mother speaking:
„she‘s in her room“
The door opened and I saw Teddy’s‘s mother.She was pale.
„Something‘s wrong with Teddy?“I whispered.
„Calm down,Jinny.I came here for you.Teddy wants to see you.
When I came in,Teddy was lying. His eyes sparkled when he saw me.
“Jinny”he whispered and I couldn’t hold back my tears.
“Don’t cry,silly.So that’s it.There are a couple of hours or maybe minutes to live for me.And I want to be with you.”
“You’re not gonna die.Calm down.I love you so much.You’re not gonna die.You’re gonna live.We’re gonna be together.Just like always.I can’t exist without you”
He listened to my words and kissed my palms.
“Here,take this”he handed me a piece of paper “that’s my last letter.I don’t have enough time to tell you everything. It gave me a shudder.
“Teddy….Teddy,You ARE going to live.Teddy!
Breathing heavily,he whispered.
“Jinny,kiss me for the last time…..Jinny”
I bent down and kissed him.Tears were running down my cheeks.I kissed him once again and then he closed his eyes.Then a doctor came and started leading me away form his bed.
“Save him!Please save him!”I screamed,not being able to control myself.Suddenly I turned around and saw Teddy dying with a smile on his face.
“Teddy!”I screamed,but he didn’t hear a sound.He closed his eyes that I love so much, forever.
They buried Teddy three days after his death.Those days I was walking like a ghost.Before the funeral I bought a bouquet of white wedding flowers.It was the last gift to him.I came to his house.There were many people inside and I came to his coffin.He was lying peacefully,as if he was sleeping. Like in a dream,I put down the flowers and then saw his mother.She was standing and looking at him with a frantic look.It was as if she wanted to memorize his face.Suddenly I heard the macabre funeral march.Everyone was walking.In the front,people carried the flowers and wreaths. And behind of them they carried Teddy’s coffin.They stopped at the pit and opened the coffin. That’s it,I’m not gonna see Teddy again.Then they started putting the coffin to the grave.
“Leave him!He’s gonna wake up!Leave him!”I screamed like mad,not controlling myself.My eyes met Teddy’s mother’s.She looked at me and then threw herself towards the grave.
“Son!My son! You haven’t done anything wrong.Teddy,don’t leave,please,don’t leave!”She spread her hand as if she wanted to take him out of the coffin.The same hands that rocked Teddy when he was a baby.And now he’s lying in the coffin.Then a man came to her and led her away, and she screamed as loud as she could. In that dire moments you lose your sense,you can’t control yourself.I dropped my self on the ground near the grave,but they took me away.
In the place of the pit,there was a knoll.I didn’t even notice when they were burying.Everyone started walking away.I couldn’t accept the thought that I wasn’t going to see Teddy again.And then I remembered the letter..I took it and started reading.
Dear Jinny,my love.You know how much I love you.You’re the star in my sky.It’s really hard to die for me b cause I know you love me, Jinny.Please,don’t be sad.I’m sorry I couldn’t keep my promise to be with you for the rest of your life.Don’t cry.You’ll be in my thoughts for the rest of my life.It’s hard to leave you.I know,you love me.I stop writing right here,because I know that the last hours of my life are coming. Remember me,Jinny,remember my eyes and my heart that love you so much….now……remember the story about the white swans .Good-bye,my love.Remember me,Jinny……….Always yours,Teddy.
I stood there and looked at Jinny.Now I know what the love is.Here is a sendoff evening and he’s not here,not with her.Suddenly she looked at me with her eyes filled with tears.Her blue eyes shined with pain.Then she ran outside.I ran after her and then heard a tires squeak.When I ran behind the corner I saw an uncanny sight.Jinny was lying under the wheels of the car, like a bird with the white dress that reminded of the swan.She was holding a letter in her hand.Suddenly Jinny opened her eyes and whispered:
“I’m with you now,Teddy.We’re gonna be together now,Teddy.”
Many people gathered around the car.When the doctors came,they looked at the girl and said:
“Sudden death”
Now,this white swan died in the prime of her life.I looked at Jinny again.She was smiling.I took the letter from her hand and read the line:
'Remember the story about the white swans....'
