What's your uncle's name? There was a popular player named Steve Tsujiura who played for the Maine Mariners and played for the Japanese Hockey team at the Nagano, Japan Olympic games.

Herb! That's what the coach's name was!

I liked it....but I thought they could have ended it about a half hour before they did. They showed the entire 2nd US/Soviet Union game. Boring, and I like hockey.

I though it was really good! I think Kurt Russelll is really underrated as an actor.

That I can agree with. I think his most underrated movie is Escape from New York. I thought it was a really cool movie.

I want to see Miracle. I wish ESPN Classic would air that game between the US and the Soviets. They did that back in 2000 when they celebrated the 20th anniversary but that was before I got that channel. I think of ithe game as payback for what the Soviets did to the US basketball team in the 1972 Olympics.

Anyone ever hear of the book "And the Crowd Goes Wild"? It is a big hard cover book with two audio CDs. Narrated by Bob Costas, they contain the radio and TV broadcasts of prominent sporting events, like Lou Gehrig's last game, "The Shot Heard 'Round the World", the controversial Olympic game involving the US basketball team being upset by the Soviets in Munich in 1972, among other events. One of these was that Olympic hockey game between the US and the Soviets. Al Michaels couldn't have put it better. "Do you believe in miracles? Yes!!!" I strongly recommend the book for sports nuts. I think I'll make a thread about this in the Sports board. :seeya:
