I want to let everyone know that Mariposa and I have gone into the site management business. We have been talking for a while about having a general fiction site to showcase original fiction and poetry that isn't necessarily Freddie related. Of course much of it is, but we are now writing other stories. We want to thank Starshine and Suzanne for giving our fan fiction a home for these past three years. I still plan on posting stories at Suzanne's site at Ed Brown's garage. I always want to give her the support she deserves. I just realized that many of my family and friends who aren't into Freddie might be able to find my stuff at a site that has more than that on it.

In two years I have read 'almost' all the stories and it never stops amazing me the talented members we have in the Freddie family.

Thanks for all your well wishes. One of the reasons I have waited so long to do this (along with not having the time to figure out the site building programs :p) is I didn't want to be in competition with anyone. Everyone has fantastic sites and I hope that my little contribution to the cause will complement what everyone else has done. HueMee can attest to the fact that it takes some time to figure out Tripod, but now that I have done that, I think I am ready to be a good site manager.

I do want to let everyone know that this site is not only for Freddie related fiction, but open to all types of fiction (within some guidelines of good taste!). And it is NOT exclusive to Mariposa and myself. If you have a story you would like to post there, any story about any subject, please email it to me and I would be happy to put it on. The intention of this site is to showcase fiction of any kind from people who would like to see their work showcased.

I decided not to bother with a message/feedback forum, but my email link is on the bottom of the home page. I will be adding a page soon that I will post any email feedback I get. I think I can handle this better than trying to set up a message/feedback board.

I want to thank all this yucky weather for the creation of the site as well. OMG we have only had 2 and a half days of school this past two weeks!!!!:eek: Pray hard for SPRING!!! My bones and my sanity can't take much more of winter! But at least it gave me time to figure this thing out!

BTW, Cheryl, thanks sooooo much for the beautiful pictures you made.... May I add them to my home page?!?!? I would love to showcase them there. I don't plan on having much artwork on my site, but those were made out of love and I would be honored to have them hanging on my site! :D

Again, I want to thank HueMee, Joy and Kriziazafiro, and Starshine for their wonderful sites. Know that we are not in competition, but a joyful celebrative collaboration of our talents and of the person who inspires us all, Freddie. I think he will always be my inspiration, even as I venture into stories that aren't about him, cause he was the one who first got me going! He and Mariposa that is.... I am very grateful to the both of them.... and to you all for my support over the past three years... special thanks too, again, to Starshine and HueMee for giving my fiction its first homes! I will continue to give HueMee some of my stories. I want to let you know that Opportunity Knocks will be exclusively hers as well as any new chapters of A New Beginning. Salvation and the first chapters of A New Beginning will only be on Starshine's and HueMee's sites. I will be posting In Harm's Way on both HueMee's site and my site, because I want it to have a broad audience.

Glad you liked the pics. They're not good but inspired by your site none the less. You can most certainly use them. You & anyone else here can know that ya'll are more than welcome to use my not so good pics. :) I can't wait to read the new fan fictions on all the sites. I don't think of the sites as competing against each other but as different peoples takes on Freddie...

Stands up and applauds! I am honored to have your work posted at Lounging with Louies. To know that you and Mariposa are doing an extended Freddie and other types of writing is outstanding! I am forever grateful to have such talented authors at Lounging with Louies! I am so excited that the both of you are working together and are posting your different styles of work! I will be posting the link to your fanfiction site once I get my problem solved at tripod. I know I can post the link at Louning with Louie but I am currently having trouble accessin my Ed Brown's site.. Congratulations ladies! I hope you have the best time with this new site... Tripod can be a bit tempermental most of the time.. Just bare with them and you will do a fantastic job!!!

I am so impressed with the comfortable couch ladies! You two have done such a wonderful and fantsastic job. I have been thinking for some time to delete the forum/message board at Lounging at Louies only because no one posted there. My only reason was to let the readers know how they felt about the stories that were posted there and there was no response.:gossip
