While we're on the subject of names. . . . In the first episode, Alex admits to Patrick that her real surname is Baldzikowski, which Cheri still goes by. Stevie is shocked at the news, which punctures the Hollywood mystique for him. Now, I know this last name comes from a crew member of the show, but I'm glad they didn't make a continuous joke out of it after the pilot. I think Polish-Americans would have been very unhappy about that. But maybe I'm wrong.

I watch the show. But I forgot who played her.
