I would have to say that it is a tie between seasons 1 and 4.

So far I've seen Seasons 1, 5, 6, and 7. I think 7 is my least favorite, although I did like the bittersweet finale. I sort of liked Season 1 but the characters weren't too developed like they would be in the later seasons. I also felt different than the seasons that would follow it. That season is my second least favorite.

Season 4
Season 4, for me, was the worst. I like the drama, but that season had a bit too much.

Season 4. I couldn't stand Riley and Adam had no personality.

season 4 wasn't the best, but I don't think it's the worst. I do agree the Riley/Initiative thing went on too long. But for every bad episode that season, there was a Hush, Restless and Superstar to make up for it.

And I honestly admit that I like Beer Bad in a "so bad it's good" way

Superstar was horrible to watch. I couldn't stand Jonathan in that episode.

Superstar was horrible to watch. I couldn't stand Jonathan in that episode.

I always liked Jonathan (IMO, the wrong geek was killed in Conversations With Dead People), so I thought an entire episode devoted to him was great

Which season is your least fave?

Season 7.

The other seasons were great, or at least had some redeeming value (Season 4 - Hush, Fear Itself; Season 6 - OMWF, the Dark Willow arc), but Season 7 was too relentlessly dark, without the sense of adventure that marked the previous seasons.

IMO, the problem with season 7 was that Joss' storyplan for the season wasn't long enough to stretch through 22 episodes, there were a lot of episodes after Conversations With Dead People and before Lies My Parents Told Me that seemed to accomplish nothing. I also agree that it was too dark without the sense of adventure, for example, Xander losing his eye. I still liked season 7 more than any season of Angel though.

My least favorite would have to be 7. Buffy's speaches just got to be silly.
I haven't seen all of Angel yet so I can't give a least fave for that one.

My least favorite season is 4... whole Army thing didn't appeal, but some of Season 4 episodes were classics.

As for Angel, some of its seasons are better than Buffy's 4 and 7... like Angel Season 5 was better than Buffy's final season

Season four was absolutely terrible. I didn't particularly care for Riley, and the entire thing with the underground demon hunter Army just didn't appeal to me.

Very boring season. The only good thing about it was Willow and Tara meeting and becoming a couple. Other than that though, I hated series four.

When Season 6 was on, it was my least favorite, up to that point. I watch them now, and Love it. I like season 1 the least. Season 7 comes in a close second. I actually liked season Four. (LOL) and I liked "Beer Bad"...Season Four was good!

By S7, I was pretty much ready for it to be over. To this day, I still hate Faith.

Definetly, Season 4.

But looking back, I can't imagine life before Buffy now. I got into it last June, when I saw a mid Season 6 episode in late night syndication. I still stuck to saying that it is horrible & made no sense, but there was something about it that was more intruiging than any show I had ever seen. The next week I watched it in late night syndication again, and knew I had to buy the DVD's. I took a lot of punishment from my friends for watching it, but had absolutley no regret blowing 400$ on the DVD's. (They were 60$ apiece Canadian) Anyways when I finished with the series I was left with a feeling that I had never felt before on a TV Show. I actually cared for the characters like they were real. Friends is the only other show that comes even close to this for me. So thats my Buffy experience... If your still reading this I'm sorry to have rambled on, and on. I'll stop now.

The last two seasons stunk save for a few good episodes. The series should've ended with "The Gift." It would've been a better ending than what we got with "Chosen."

Season 4

I thought that the whole initiative thing and Riley and Adam was a lowpoint.
Adam, the main villain, had no personality or coolness factor.
Riley was just... annying
Initiative thing? that was really, really useless.

There were some good eps, but they didn't make up for the suckiness of the entire season.

My second least fav would be season 7

The potentials just were so... arghh!! (frustrating)
But I loved Spike in that season.... James Marsters is such a good actor

My least favorite is definately Season 1. Does Season 1 even count? LOL.....Aside from that, it's Season 7. And about Season 4, I loved it when it was on TV, then when it came into syndication, I HATED it. After watching the episodes on DVD many many times, I actually do love Season 4 again.....It's 7 that I can't stand. Well, the 2nd half of 7. The final 5 episodes were great though. (And even though Seasons 1, 4, and 7 might be low-points to some fans, they still were, and are better than 90% of Television.)

Season One is my least favorite. However, the show was just getting started, so I can forgive most of it quite easily. I guess Season Four would be next, but I just got done watching it recently, and I just LOVED it! This time around, I much more enjoyed the science vs. magic aspect of it, Adam seemed more menacing for some reason, and I began to really care about Riley. Spike and Buffy are still my favorite out of Buffy's relationships, but it became more obvious this time around how much Riley loved Buffy, and how good he was for her. I actually now prefer Buffy/Riley over Buffy/Angel, due to the fact that this is the kind of relationship that Buffy needed that Angel could never give her. Season Seven would be next. Is it wrong that I secretly wanted Buffy to kick the crap out of Rona and Kennedy? I'm sure I'm not the only one....

I actually didnt care for season 6. It was just too dark for me.

I agree. I hated the Spike/Buffy sex relationship. It was really sleazy and degrading, in my opinion. However, I also didn't like the last season, season 7.

La Stagione 1 sempre trovato molto noioso!

Buffy divenne in seguito una delle mie serie TV preferite, ma non , GRAZIE PER LA STAGIONE 1!

mediocri episodi, personaggi e mal UTILIZZATI a freddo ....

Almeno stagione 4 episodio ha qualche cattivo ( "Hush" č uno dei miei episodi preferiti della serie)

Direi Che il 1 ° e 4 come il pių brutto
