i learned html by going to peoples pages that had the elements i wanted and viewing their sources to see how they did it. then i lived happily ever after with my html knowledge. i am irish.

Dammit, I was gonna suggest Lissa Explains too! That one is a GREAT site. Really easy to understand, too. :D

I agree about Lissa Explains!! I go there anytime I need color codes especially. They have a huge chart on them. It's also really easy to understand the other stuff too.
