Hi All...I'm a new member and I have yet to get the TDVDS DVD sets!!! I know...I have to get on that! lol
But...I was wondering if the makers of the DVD's were going to be putting any of the specials on them (like "Dick Van Dyke and the Other Woman"... "The Dick Van Dyke Show Remembered" etc.)???. I hope they will...because I haven't seen any of these and would LOVE to be able to see them on the DVD sets!
If THEY AREN"T... does anyone know where I can get a hold of them and any other specials that they have done (even little things like being on Larry King or Oprah!)

And welcome! While there are some "extras" on the DVDs, we haven't come across any specials yet. There are commercials for Kent cigarettes and Joy dish washing liquid. There's footage from awards presentations and the cast's entire guest appearace on a game show, and some other stuff.
I know what you mean, though. "Dick Van Dyke & The Other Woman" is a much sought after special. It would be great if they gave it to us on say, the last DVD as a surprise!
As for the interviews and such, I doubt they'll be included, but maybe you can find someone who's taped them and is willing to share. Sorry, but I haven't got them.

Regarding "...the Other Woman", I believe Paul Brownstein was recently quoted as saying that music rights will make the release of this special unlikely.

We are inded lucky that many of the songs featured on the first couple of seasons were public domain or we'd be missing certain scenes.

The DVD of MTM Show had a snippet of "White Christmas" removed because of rights issues.
