Night Court is finally coming back to cable, after a two year layoff. A&E's spin-off channel, The Biography Channel will add reruns of Night Court starting this March. It could be only for a limited time, since A&E/Biography loses the rights to the show after this fall. A&E first aired the show in January 2000.

As soon I find the times the show will air, I'll post it here. NewsRadio will also air on the Biography Channel.

Pav just told me they will be skipping around like crazy with Night Court :(, which makes ME think they lose it sooner rather than later, but I'm still going to tape.

Is it already airing on the Biography channel?

If it is I'm changing my options on Friday. Otherwise I'm waiting until March 1st.

As far as I know, nope. Not airing. Starts March 1st.

When I said Pav told me they were skipping like crazy, I guess I mislead. He knows what episodes will air in March and told me they were skipping around like crazy. And thankfully, starting in March when Days airs on SOAPnet, I can catch Night Court at 1:30. 7:30 is also a good time for me. 11:30pm not so much. 3:30am is good too. I'm happy with those slots.

And good for you too Jamie, in terms of L.A. Law, since you weren't able to start taping it until recently. Pav says all the other shows are airing in order (of course they are, lol, just my luck ;) )

And I agree, I'll be happy to tape the episodes I can. Beats not having none at all. I just wish the L.A. Law airings were better :( 4am on A&E is still fine, but I wanted to get some of the eps I missed in case A&E drops it after the current run. 11am starting in March I'm taping Laverne & Shirley, and the 5pm slot I'll probably be taping Knight Rider. God, I need a life... LOL, but I love taping stuff.

I'm already trying to figure out how in the heck I'm gonna tape this stuff when I'm at work all night. I'll be glad when summer comes and I'm back on days.

Pretty cool news. A guy actually paid me to tape the A and E eps two years ago, but never bought the tapes. Was I glad. When A and E yanked it I had all the eps except a few.

DianeChambers87, you'll love Night Court if you're into raunchy slapstick. The show was purely adult, lots of sex and gross out gags. But hella funny. Very different brand of humor than Cheers.

Night Court is awesome.
I used to watch it all the time the last time it aired on TV.

Too bad I dont get "The Biography Channel".... because Night Court is one of my favorite shows.... and Ive always wanted to check out Newsradio.

Man, you don't know how much I miss this show. It was only one of a handful I would follow every week.

I hope that the DVD release isn't just wishful thinking. I would buy each season as a set too. Not interested in "best of" episodes similar to what is being offered for other t.v. shows.

I went and had my cable changed so I would get the Biography Channel in my package. My rate only increased slightly and I got about 30 more channels including Soap Net!

Oops forgot this started yesterday. I'm all set for tonight though :) Too bad I have to go to work!

I have to say I am enjoying watching The Reruns of Night Court
on The A And E The Biography Channel at 12:30 pm and at
10:30 pm central time.

I was so happy to see that the Biography Channel brought Night Court to its lineup. I have been waiting a long time to see the show again. Ahh, happy memories.

Starting Monday, May 3, The Biography Channel will replace NewsRadio and Night Court at 1-2pm and 7-8pm ET, and add more Murder She Wrote, which means if you get BOTH A&E and Biography, you can watch it for FOUR hours straight, 10am-2pm and 4-8pm (10 and 11am on A&E; 12pm and 1pm on Bio; 4 and 5pm on A&E; and 6 & 7 pm on Bio).

Night Court will continue to air at 11:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. ET on Biography Channel.
