I think Helen and Antonio's wedding was a bit more normal than Helen and Joe's wedding. At least Antonio didn't get his hand stuck down a toilet!

Yeah, but with Helen & Joe, she married the love of her life, her soulmate, and she was much, much, MUCH happier at her 2nd wedding, even if Joe's hand was stuck in the hopper!!

I agree!! Who cares if Joe had his hand in the toilet? Helen was marrying the love of her life! hehe.

Joe and Helen's wedding, although gone haywire, was still romantic at the end.

I felt bad when Helen married Antonio. It was played for laughs, but there was a sad element about it. You could see that she felt terrible, and Joe looked sad about it too.

Helen and Joe's wedding.
At least Helen's dress fit that time!

For all of the heart-breaking "Helen" scenes that Crystal did on "Wings", for some reason we hardly ever discuss the scene in Joe's office just before Helen's wedding to Antonio...where Helen tells Joe that she always dreamed of being a bride, and this loveless sham marriage to Antonio was how her wedding day was turning out. Crystal has that sad quiver in her voice during this speech (like she gets when she's on the verge of tears), and it's another one of those emotional "kick in the gut" moments.
