View Full Version : ebay help pzl lolz
Kristina 01-31-2004, 03:45 PM Ok, I got suspended from eBay toward the end of 2001 for not giving people what they paid for and not paying for what I bought. And I really want to register an account, a few months back I used my dads account on this computer and got it suspended. I guess they know my IP or something???
Is there anyway to change my IP, or just anyway for me to register an eBay account so they don't recognize me? I'm desperate. :( I even got a new email address to see if I could fool them that way, they always catch me.
Kristina 01-31-2004, 04:26 PM anyone?
bandito 01-31-2004, 06:47 PM I'm not to up on the IP thing, but isn't it something to do with your internet provider or computer? Can you use somebody elses computer to register on?
Mijada 01-31-2004, 06:57 PM You probably have to use a different computer.
Kristina 01-31-2004, 08:51 PM Uh, ok. Thanks.

I find this astonishing. And you want people to help get you back on ebay? To do what? Continue this irresponsible behavior? I am GLAD they nail deadbeats like you. When you sign up for Ebay, you agree to obide by the rules and pay your debts to your sellers and buyers. You should really be ashamed of yourself for not holding up your end of the deal. Unless you were laid up in the hospital, there's NO excuse. Why get involved if you haven't got the money to pay for things?

Okay.
vienna waits 01-31-2004, 10:01 PM yeah sounds like there's reason you aren't allowed to register.
Moe D'Lawn 01-31-2004, 10:11 PM Ebay frowns on deadbeat sellers and buyers. Anyone who got stiffed by this person obviously reported her to the safeharbour section of the site. They get enough complaints and the accounts are cut off. More serious violations can result in LAW SUITS. Shystering ebay is a bad idea. The bidding is a LEGAL contract. This person is lucky she's getting off this easy.

I have to agree with this. Why didn't you send people the stuff that they payed for? If you kept the money, that's simply stealing. Did you give the money back?
Do you want another chance on ebay so you can prove yourself, or so you can just do the same thing again?

i never contacted them, so i never got money.
i tawry:(
AllIWantIsYourClutch 01-31-2004, 10:35 PM Go to the library or something and register there. Then you can probably log on at your computer with no problems. As long as you register somewhere with a different IP.

Okay, but understand how frustrating it is to a buyer. I've been buying on eBay for six years now, and have never missed a payment. I've only run across slow sellers twice - and it's so annoying because you don't know if you're going to get what you were planning on, or if you should just pay, or if you blow them off are they gonna come back and report you... it's really hard. Please, if you are gonna go back on eBay, be serious about it. Some people do actually buy and sell on eBay full time. It's how they make their money and they depend on their transactions going through.

THEY DIDN'T PAY FOR IT. I NEVER CONTACTED THEM. I WOULD NEVER TAKE SOMEBODYS MONEY AND NOT GIVE THEM THE ITEM, THAT WOULD BE WRONG. AND I'D GET IN BIG TROUBLE.
Moe D'Lawn 01-31-2004, 11:24 PM You're contradicting yourself now, so give up. You said in your first post:
"Ok, I got suspended from eBay toward the end of 2001 ****for not giving people what they paid for and not paying for what I bought.****** "
Accept your guilt, and start acting as a good citizen. And shame on the person who is encouraging you to break the law.

THAT WAS 3 YEARS AGO.
i got suspended from ebay about a year ago but i signed up again a few months ago, i just make sure i only bid on one thing at a time and pay for it before i bid something else. i dont know why it wont let you sign up, maybe you should just sign up at school or the library or something.

I meant what they would place bids on for my stuff. I've never taken anyones money and kept it, I wouldn't be able to anyways. They'd track me down, so that would be pretty pointless. I never ****ing kept anyones money, so back off
And if I "bought" something that means I payed for it, I just didn't use the right words. I'm not contradicting myself, stop being such an *******.
