If ALL the Cheers characters (not the actors) got tattoos what would they get, where would they put it, and explain why... It's a weird question I know hence the post title... does your input help me in any way? yeah but I won't say why...

Well, we already know from a previous episode that Cliff would get a tattoo of the United States Post Office on him and Norm would get a tattoo of Vera's name.

Sam-Red Sox symbol
Diane-a small flower of some sort
Woody-his kids and wife's names
Frasier-maybe the face of Sigmund Frued
Lilith-something tribal

Sam- Red Sox symbol or something to signify his ladies man status (back)
Diane- something intellectual (shoulder)
Carla- a face with it's tounge stciking out because she makes fun of everyone (shoulder)
Coach- something baseball related (arms or shoulder)
Norm- a mug of beer, of course! (arm or shoulder)
Cliff- somthing trivia related (shoulder)
Rebecca- something to show of her personality as a gold digger (shoulder or back)
Woody- everyone's names in his whole family all over himself
Frasier- sigmund frued or Lilith's name (shoulder or back)
Lilith- one of her lab rats or Frasier's name (shoulder or lower back)

Sam: I think he would be stupid enough to get a woman of his name tatooed on him, but other than that definately a red sox something (probably his butt)

Diane: if, (and that's a big if) she got anythingit would be very small and barely noticable a tiny flower on her ankle maybe

Woody: kelly's name (arm maybe)

Norm: Vera's name or beer (arm)

Cliff: obviously like a postal service something (i prefer not to think about where he would get it)

Carla: she probably already has a tatoo or two

Rebecca: a rose on the small of her back

Coach: a baseball on his arm

Frasier: frued (arm or back)

Lilith: someone's name, i don't know whose (small of back or some other place, idk)

That is a REALLy weird questions but Sam would get a red sox symbol thats all I can really picture.

haha I would think with Sam, Kinda like in the epidode "the Sam in the grey flannel suit", where he had a picture of him on his desk, I would see him getting his face tatooed on himself lol.

Carla: either elvis, or Red Sox
Coach: "Read"
Woody: Corn?
Norm: Beer.

HAHAHAHA!! AND THE TATtOO SAID ...OOOH ok!

Sam and Diane are very depressed one night Diane get's drunk and in her drunken state get's Sam drunk they both go to a tattoo parlor...for some reason and Sam get's a Heart that says "Diane" while Diane gets a heart that says "Sam"

They both wake up the next day, each in there own beds horrified!!! :lol:

and mind you they are not going out!

I agree, but I don't think it's that remote a possibility. . . Remember when Frasier goes back to Sam's office in "Birth, Death, Love, and Rice" and talks about how Diane behaved in Italy? (Dancing on tables in cafes, swimming in public fountains, . . . ) I totally would not have been surprised if she had gotten a tattoo during her wild spree. . .
