View Full Version : Good Sibling TV Relationships?
Janice 01-31-2004, 02:26 AM I'll kick it off with 'Roseanne' -- Jackie and Roseanne were close sisters. It was believable because they fought and it wasn't all sunshine all the time.
'Wings' -- Brian and Joe Hackett were great as brothers with the troubled past relationship.
edoug 01-31-2004, 02:53 AM Buffy,Jody and Cissy from Family Affair and Willis and Arnold from Diff'rent Strokes. Because of deaths of their parents they needed each other more.

- The Tanner sisters from Full House
- The Keaton children

They were cousins.
Kristen 02-02-2004, 05:36 PM How about Alex and Mallory on "Family Ties"? Sure they argued a lot, but their relationship was real. I have an older brother, and I can totally relate to those two.

Yes!! They argued, but loved one another when it counted most. I am the older brother of a younger sister (2 yrs. like Alex and Mallory) and I know where they came from.

Yay, somebody agrees with me! LOL My brother reminds me of Alex, too, in a lot of ways (I haven't decided yet whether that's a good thing or a bad thing! ;))

Pentimento 05-15-2005, 03:28 PM Not from a sitcom, but the first pair of siblings I thought of was Willie and Buddy Lawrence in Family. They had a great relationship and it seemed fairly realistic (at least to me). I miss that show.
G-Force Glockstar 05-15-2005, 03:30 PM The Tanner girls (Full House) didn't seem to fight alot. And they loved eachother and told eachother they did.
I'm sure they're more.......
Rosslover 06-24-2005, 05:40 PM What was so great about Monica and Ross was that they hated each other as kids and grew to care so much about each other..as adults...plus she fell in love and married with his best friend from college and he in turn was in love with her best friend...
another brother and sister pair....Joey and Gina Tribbiani......they stick up for each other.
