Beyonce is a hypocrite. She talks about how close she is with God. If you're so 'close with God', why don't you try leaving your clothes on in one of your videos for a change and rely on your talent of singing for a change? And THAT'S even limited.
Pink is studio created 'Rebel Chick.' She does not write her own songs. That image of hers was created by a record company. She's simply acting a part.
Britney is just simply white trailer park trash.

1. How does the amount of clothing one wears reflect their relationship with God?

2. OK....I agree w/ the Pink thing.

3. Saying that Britney is "white trailer park trash" is sort of untrue. You got the "white" part right, but the trailer park trash would imply that she lives in a trailer park. She's probably richer than anyone on these boards will ever be.

I don't have any problems with Pink. She may not write her own music, but she does have a good voice, and manages to keep her clothing on.

No, it's still true. You can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl. ;)

I also agree with the Pink thing. Not so much with the Beyoncé one though.....I don't see it that way

Okay, poor choice of words. From what I've seen of her, she manages to keep her clothes on (in her videos, etc.) Yeah, sometimes it's a little much, but it doesn't bug me. Her attitude about it's different.

I love them all- Britney more than any of them- but clothes dont make or break your connections with God. Its weird how Britney is always the one getting ragged on for what she wears, yet Pink and Beyone seem to get away with it. But I think because Beyonce does it in a classy way- she doesnt go around humping guys legs and stuff and she dresses tastefully and she dresses classy for awards shows. Britney was all about being the 'innocent virgin', so when she decided to start getting naked, it was like a big surprise to everyone.. and it still seems to be.

Bee said that how much clothes you wear has nothing to do with how good your relationship with god is. She said she believes that being a Christian is about not judging other people, and she said she never judges anyone else, and she doesn't expect people to judge her.

GO BEE.

Just wondering where did you hear that P!nk doesn't write her own songs? or do you mean the music....she writes most of her lyrics. She didn't write Feel Good Time, Get The Party Started and most of her 1st album(but who cares about that one!?)

Okay, let me try this again: you don't have to actually live in a trailer park to be considered "trailer trash." She is still trashy.

Oh... sorry...
They have a new song out & the last two lines out of the chorus are - you can take the girl out of the honky tonk, but you can't take the honky tonk out of the girl.

It's called : "You Can't Take The Honky Tonk Out Of The Girl."

Sorry for inferring wrong.

why are pop fans more openminded to country than country fans are to other genres? I know quite a few people including myself whose taste generally is either rock or pop (NOT Britney pop mind you), but we love Reba, Shania, Dixie Chicks, etc... I have practically every cd Dolly's ever recorded, I love her.

Yet I know a lot of country fans who use the "i'm a country fan" excuse about why they don't like other genres. If say, my friend who loves Madonna and Matchbox 20 loves Reba, I don't see why a country fan can't also like other genres of music as well. Hell, another one of my friends loves Kylie Minogue to death, but yet he also loves Sara Evans and Tammy Cochran

I'm not a big fan of anything. I'm a fan of everything, really. I like a little of everything, and sticking to just one genre of music is boring, in my opinion.

I'm not really a country fan, but I do listen to some. I love Shania Twain and Dolly Parton. Garth Brooks's "The Dance" is one of the best songs ever written, imo. :)

Sorry, never heard "Long Black Train."
