Everyone talks about how great Robert Reed was. It's true, no doubt. But what about Barry Williams.

I think Williams was a unique actor, who may have also been influenced by Reed. He had the natural ability to pick up on some of Reed's influence.

Also, he knew that the kids were the main characters of the show, and his being the oldest was a very important part of the show. He naturally fit into the role. And his character became a big part of the show's appeal.

I agree. Barry Williams looked very natural with his expressions and tone of voice. You could really believe he was having such a conversation with someone.

Barry Williams is one of my favourite actors. Very good actor, I wish he'd do more!

I rewatched "Getting Greg's Goat" the other night. The interaction between Reed and Williams in that episode is hilarious.

I think Barry was the best child actor on the show.(though Greg wasn't my fave character)

Barry & Maureen(Marsha!Marsha!Marsha!) were the best kid actor and actress since most of the focus was on them but my favorite was Jane and Cindy!!
