Alright, I definitely agree with the popular opinion that the jinny and cap moment was not good. As far as Jinny arguing with Cap, I think the producers may have thought that the viewers would think Jinny wrong for arguing with Cap after she had her stroke and was recovering.
Cap isn't stupid, she could see it in jinny's eyes. I think she was afraid to let her know that she supported her. Which is odd but whatever. You could see the way Cap watched jinny leave her office that she was concerned. I think we have more cap/jin moments on the way.

I agree with you. I think Cap knew she was pushing it by not saying directly that she supported Jinny. I think she did support her though. I just think that Cap doesnt want Jinny to have the easy way out all the time. Not that Cap wants her to struggle, but I think she wants Jinny to do things on her own without having Cap fight for her all the time.

The moment wasn't that great. It wasn't as good as one of the older season's moments.

I disagree.
Cap didn't support Jinny. Think about it: Cap knows how Jinny is. Jinny has a bad temper. John Jr. said it pretty well in Before the Deluge when he called Jinny a "hot head". Jinny is the type of person who bears grudges and fights for whatever she thinks is worth fighting for. When someone does something wrong to her or to anyone she cares about, she always tries to find a way to let that person know that she is pissed off. Cap knows it and so do the rest of us. And Cap didn't want to say anything to Jinny because 1.] She didn't want an argument to start. She and Jinny had a lot of problems in the past and Cap didn't want to dig them all up again. 2.] Cap knows that Jinny has been having a difficult time trying to figure herself out and get her life back together, and Cap didn't want to add to Jinny's stress by making Jinny feel like a dissapointment. She didn't want to do anything to set Jinny back. She knows that under that tough exterior, deep down Jinny is sensitive and all of her psychological/emotional wounds are in the process of healing, and Cap didn't want to rip them open again.
