View Full Version : Not one.. but TWO!
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 01-29-2004, 01:15 PM Heh, last time I went to the dentist, he told me I still had a baby tooth. Well, he took my pics again, and now I find out I have two baby teeth. He said theyre my 'eye' teeth.. kinda in the front on top next to both front teeth. He said that theyd probably never come out-- the permanants are in between the bones laying flat and sideways. If they ever do need to come out he said, theyd have to cut through my gums and teeth, and turn them around to get them to cut through.   LOl, but he said that shouldnt happen.
Mijada 01-29-2004, 03:30 PM That's weird, considering you're almost 20 years old. They should have fallen out a long time ago.

That sounds just a BIT painful. Good thing you probably won't need that!

Jokerette 01-29-2004, 04:50 PM I've got a dentist appointment next week and my teeth are in a terrible state. I dread to think how much treatment I'm going to need.
Thank God I get it for free on the NHS.
Rhiannon 01-29-2004, 05:56 PM Hope they don't have to do all that cuttin

Oh, boy...sounds like fun! :D Hopefully when I get my braces off, my teeth'll be perfect and nothing like that will ever happen!

Yeah, it happened to me! I was 18 and I still had some baby teeth. My dentist thought I was an "interesting" patient.:D On top of this, I also was born with only two wisdom teeth, which was kind of a blessing when it came to having them removed.

Oh yes...having them out was such a pain. I wanted to eat solid food, dammit!
I lost my dental insurance, so I haven't been there in...2 yrs. :o

My dentist said I'm never going to grow wisdom teeth. I feel lucky.

Oh, it is. Back in 6th grade, I had to have 4 teeth removed in the OR at the hospital, because they had to put me under and rip open my gums, because my teeth were impacted so far in. I had to make room, considering I had braces. I had stitches and was out of school for a week.
EricIdlefan 01-30-2004, 06:11 PM I haven't been to the dentist in two years nearly!! Quit job due to management and loss of dental insurance!!
#1_Nancy_McKeon 01-30-2004, 10:19 PM yikes, hopefully it doesn't have to come to all that cutting.
My friend, we had to have been like fourteen or fifteen. She opened her mouth and I informed her she had TWO rows of teeth on the bottom toward the back not the front teeth! One row was the permanent and one still her baby teeth. She's since gotten them out, but can you imagine what I thought when I saw that? lol She hadn't realized that wasn't normal.
Good Luck
~*Hannah_Lee*~ 01-31-2004, 12:35 AM I have 2 teeth like that. My teeth fell out really slowly, anyway, so my dentist said that my permanents may just be stuck or that I may not have any in there. And if that's the case, then if my baby teeth do ever come out, they'd have to put fake ones in there or something. Hopefully, that won't happen.
