Just curious to know...I am asking this question because I've watched Barney Miller off and on.

Just recently, I picked up the first season of Barney Miller on DVD and noticed the writing on the back of the jail cell wall.

I can't make it out all the way because there are bars in the front of the writing.

it says, "PLEASE DON'T ****** ON THE FLOOR.

Is it SIT?

I'm quite sure it says "Please don't spit on the floor".:)
