She was on the Today Show this morning - I really like her a lot - great 'tude. Loved her in Chicago and will try to see her in this new movie. I saw bringing Down The House and really liked it but I'm also a Steve Martin fan. Did you know her real name is Dana Owens? :)

I didn't know that was Queen Latifah's real name- I was beginning to think maybe her parents were very bohemian and just gave her an odd name. I think she's a great actress too- especially in Chicago.

I'm definitely gonna check her out in Barbershop 2. I knew her real name was Dana Owens. Queen Latifah is her rap name. Her brother Lance died in a motorcycle accident yrs ago. I don't know if he was older than her or younger than her. On the previews for Barbershop 2, she tells Cedric The Entertainer that he needs to get up off his lazy ass & cut some hair. She also said to him, look at your hair. U use your hair to sweep up the barbershop hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. He said look at u lookin like Chewbacca & u look like a half of Reese's Pieces away from a Jenny Craig diet hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. This movie is gonna be hilarious. She also did a woman's hair in the movie & the woman was wearing a white afro. The woman asked Queen Latifah did she look like Beyonce & Queen Latifah said, u look just like her LOL.

Queen Latifah is one of my favorite celebrities. I love how she promotes a positive self-image and the fact that she is always smiling.
