They are so cheap. I would've loved to see interviews with the cast as they were starting season 1. It just seemed a little cheap. I was very disappointed.

I think that none of us admitted it to that degree before, because we were so happy just to have a dvd...but now with the second one...well...it's not the same thing. Brian Damage 01-28-2004, 08:03 PM DVD 2 is on my hit list. Maybe the Mrs. will get it for me for Valentine's Day. *hint, hint* DianeChambers87 01-28-2004, 08:06 PM Originally posted by Brian Damage DVD 2 is on my hit list. I was just happy to have it on DVD after waiting so long and besides it sounds like Season 2 has great features. The only features are really care for are bloopers and interviews though. Damn I need season 2 bad!!!! Hey Brian maybe you convice the Mrs. to send me one while shes at it ;) Teddy02 01-28-2004, 11:30 PM i would love to see some season 1 bloopers i can only imagine  barwars 01-29-2004, 01:14 AM I want some commentaries like on the Frasier releases. Teddy02 01-29-2004, 12:54 PM well i'm really just happy to have them at all, i mean we own the season! Mcfly 02-16-2004, 06:58 PM DianeChambers87, is that Kathleen Turner?? I got some good bloopers from a Real Tv ep: Shelley can't stack things on a shelf that keep falling off while talking to Woody; Shelley can't get a pageant crown to stay on her head; some politician calls Ted, Ted; Woody calls Ted, Ted; Ted is trying to get out a line about Sam's brother being attractive, but ends up going "flitta-ditta-ditta" with his tongue; Ratzenberger calls Rhea, Rhea; Kirsty and Rhea cussing at each other; Woody getting the "I'm married not dead" line wrong to Kelly; Bebe screwing up a line about current child development experts agree, someone calling action, she saying "Wait I don't know what I'm supposed to say!", until a stagehand shows her the script and she says "That's what I wanted to say". DianeChambers87 02-16-2004, 09:10 PM Originally posted by Mcfly DianeChambers87, is that Kathleen Turner?? yup:) Those sound like great bloopers. barwars 02-16-2004, 09:12 PM If there are no extras on the future seasons. But they DO include bloopers.... you'll hear no complaining out of me. Bloopers/Deleted Scenes are the BEST special features. Commentaries are cool too.... and hopefully the future seasons will have them DianeChambers87 02-16-2004, 09:17 PM Originally posted by Mcfly DianeChambers87, is that Kathleen Turner?? why do you ask? lol sorry I meant to include that in the first thread. McFly121 02-18-2004, 06:40 PM I hadn't seen "young" Kathleen Turner in years and wasn't quite sure if that was her. Sadly though, I see she's gone from your sig. Sadly though, I see she's gone from your sig. here ya go;) Junaid Aslam 02-23-2004, 11:24 AM Why were Kirstie and Rhea cussing at each other? Norm's Stool 01-09-2005, 07:06 AM I found more Cheers bloopers on the net. They were originally featured in Real TV. Here's a brief description: 1. Norm giggles while the doodles bowl falls to the floor: Cliff: “-Hey, Coach, do you wanna rocket those cheese doo-dlès down here?” (NOTE: Although some bloopers related to the “cheese doodles” scene were included in the Season 2 Bloopers Extra, this particular blooper wasn’t). 2. The Coach gets tangled up in “Fairy Tales Can Come True”:-“I can’t believe what I’m hearing! I can’t! You can’t tell what a guy looks like - if he’s gay - by his appearance!” 3. (Out of character) Shelley laughs out loud for something Ted was doing in the first office scene in “Teacher’s Pet”: Ted (to the audience): “She’s so giddy... she’s so giddy... You don’t know what I did, do you?” 4. Woody gets tongue-tied while explaining the story behind the “Killer Brownies” his family from Indiana has sent him. 5. Frasier also gets tongue-tied while claiming Pavlov back from Sam in “Diane’s Allergy”. 6. Woody’s Freudian Slip in “Woody or Won’t He”: “Mrs.Gaines, stop it! I’m not having sex with ME, do you hear me?” 7.Some character with a French accent (from an episode I can’t remember at this moment) goes blank: French guy: “Because I know you, Sam Malone... (...)” Sam (faking French accent): “Yes, but do you know your next line?” 8. Diane in Teacher’s Pet: “What is the sum of the angles in an isoscecel... blah blah” 9. Sam accidentally hits his head with the bell behind the bar in “Look Before You Sleep”. MaydayMalonesGirl 01-09-2005, 04:38 PM 7.Some character with a French accent (from an episode I can’t remember at this moment) goes blank: French guy: “Because I know you, Sam Malone... (...)” Sam (faking French accent): “Yes, but do you know your next line?” Haha, Henri. Those are great. :) tiff7 05-27-2005, 05:03 PM Gr8 bloopers! I also hope future seasons will have bloopers. The whole show will be out by next fall! 6 in August 2005, 7 in November 2005, 8 in February, 9 May 2006, 10 in August 2006, & 11 in November 2006. Email Paramount & ask them for bloopers for Cheers seasons 6-11!!! :) Have a gr8 weekend y'all! :) Tiff7 TV DVD Fan 05-27-2005, 06:05 PM unfortunately, it seems as if the effort has been dropped by paramount to release sets with special features. they're also quitting putting features on frasier, as we know and brady bunch. also, why havent they already released season 3 of taxi? wassup with that release every 3 month crap? paramount owns the best shows, so they are my favorite dvd company, but they really oughta work on their act, dont you think, guys? pat tiff7 05-27-2005, 07:14 PM Pat, I think 3 months between dvd releases is gr8, though you're right on the dvd's not having bonus stuff on them (STINKY POO-BAD KITTY as Cartman on South Park would say) The reason they don't put any bonus stuff on the dvd's is so we can have them out faster! Just my opinion! Jessica |
