Does TBS cut syndicated episodes?

I haven't noticed anything off-hand, but there was one episode (I can't remember which one) where it abruptly goes to commercial...YOu know how when they go to commercial, the screen goes black for two seconds? Well, it didn't do it with that episode. There have been some people that said they noticed parts of certain scenes in certain episodes got cut down...I can't confirm for sure, because I finished taping all the eps two rotations ago. :)
