12 Two-Disc Sets Featuring 12 Classic Shows and a TV-Guide Like Cover, Beginning In September 2004:

The Andy Griffith Show
You Bet Your Life
The Lucy Show
The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet
The Milton Berle Show
The Beverly Hillbillies
Bonanza
The Burns & Allen Show
The Red Skeleton Show
and "others coming later"

I got this from DavisDVD.com .... but it doesnt allow you to cut and paste.
It says its a multi-year deal.

It mentions a release with classic Christmas episodes from various shows.... and a release that would include an unaired pilot episode of The Munsters.

The Beverly Hillbillies would be the only show out of that list that I would buy (The Munsters too.... whenever that comes)

But only if these releases are Season Sets.

But retail price is $9.99 each.... so Im not betting on it.

Sounds like the public domain episodes that have been released upteen times with poor transfers and fake theme songs.

If it is one of those type of releases.... then TVGuide should be ashamed.

TV Guide should be ashamed of a lot of things, like their stupid best and worst of lists. But I think they have no shame.

TV Guide's change to their site and their magazine back in the Fall has really made them bad. I don't like the whole new grid thing for daytime. Weeks when there are holidays and various programs, it instead of listing the programming for the whole week says "Various Programs", that is SO annoying.
