I left early and i'm taking tomorrow off, We're supposed to get up to a foot of snow South and East (where I live) of Albany. Basically, whatever The Berkshires get, we get.

We're only getting about 3-5 inches here, but I hit the grocery store today and stocked up on all sorts of good stuff.

I got my movie rentals.

Here in the UK we've been preparing for big snow storms and it is thought to get as cold as -14! They've already had snow up north of the country and in Scotland. Down south we've got none yet, hopefully it will stay that way!

The more it snows tonight, the better the chance that I don't have to go to work tomorrow.

If I miss work 3 days in a row I might have to find a corner in my town to work for an evening so I can make my car payment....

NO MORE cancellations

You guys out east must be getting all the crap I got over here a few days ago. We got a foot of snow dumped on us about three nights ago, and it's been snowing a LOT since then. It was STILL snowing today, but not as hard. The conditions were REALLY bad, though...very hazy and windy.

The white stuff that's by Fargo already hit me earlier today, so they're just now getting it and it's just blowing here.

Uh-oh, I see white stuff in MT...with my luck, it's probably going to hit here by tomorrow morning. Joy, joy. :o

I live in central Pennsylvania, just close to Johnstown and Altoona. It's really bad here. The snow is really deep and the entire ground is just covered in so much snow. The road is really piled up in it and it keeps snowing.

Does anyone know if central PA will be hit with the storm? I hope so. School was cancelled on Monday but not today. I hope it gets cancelled tomorrow, but with my luck it won't.

We had a lot of snow here. Yesterday there was a 35+ car pileup on I-96  luckily there was no serious injuries. Only 6 more inches and it's going to be the snowiest January in Grand Rapids.

There was a 50 car pile up on I-80 last month because of the weather. There were 6 fatalities. They actually had to do DNa testing on the victims because it was so bad. I really don't mind the cold because I really do not like the heat BUT when it makes driving treacherous it does get to me.

  THat's very sad. :( There was a 23-car pileup on the bridge near me back in October, and one of my uncles was involved in it...Fortunately, nobody was too seriously injured. Four teens got sent to the hospitals for their minor injuries...But everybody else went home...It was all because someone hit a patch of ice on the bridge. :o

And, I don't mind winter either...I don't like the heat, either...But I hate the snow part. That's why I prefer fall more. :D
