So, every band tries to deny being emo and then there will end up being a big argument over what emo is and who is emo and so on. Anyways, I love Bright Eyes, Brand New, Death Cab For Cutie, Straylight Run, Soco, etc.

*clears throat* emo is an abbreviation for the word "emotional" [i know its stupid] but mostly, its a new... fad? i guess? i dunno... its like a cult! woot! and its mostly just a bunch of spoiled kids running around with huge black glasses, tight tshirts and tan messanger bags with pins all over them. they dont talk to anybody, go home, eat cereal and belt out bright eyes lyrics while scribbling poetry, painting and feeling sorry for themselves *falls over* unfortunately... im one of those kids.

theres this kid... in my school named andrew mchmahon... =D he's a nerd though *sigh* he built this hovercraft and brought it in for show and tell last year in biology. heh! he's my hero. i must make friends with him. he was in my lab group for like a month *scratches head* im not sure if that counts...

Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, Brand New, Something Coporate, and I'm really starting to get interested in Bright Eyes. I like their sound.

Yep TBS, Thursday, Brand New, SOCO, and Bright Eyes are great.

I also love Phantom Planet and I'm obsessed with Dashboard Confessional.
