Vicki Lawrence will be making another appearance on "Hollywood Squares", starting next Monday (Feb. 2nd) and running through Friday (Feb. 6th).

Isn't Hollywood squares for washed up TV stars way past their prime? I might watch it if Mama is on it, but I prefer the TV series.

FYI: a lot of popular stars have been on this past season - Ty Pennington was on earlier this season, and John Ritter did a weeks' worth of eps right before he passed away (they aired two weeks after his death). It's not just for "washed-up" stars, and I take that as an insult because I think it's a very funny show. I'm always guaranteed to laugh really hard at least once every time I watch. Im confused as to why "Mama" is on it? Its hard to believe that enough people even know who she is! I guess Mama's Family has more of a following than I thought it did.

And is it just me or is that wig different than the kind used on the show?

I don't watch Hollywood Squares, but I thought I would check in to see an episode or two at the end of the week. Much to my dismay, I find that in my area it airs at 2:30 AM!!! Uggghhh!!!

I watched it on Tuesday and Wednsday. Never again. Mama is wasted and its almost a chore to watch!

I think the wig is a little different too. The one on the show looked better than this one.

Some days she doesn't get called on much...some other days, she gets called on every three turns or so. The last time she appeared on HS in October, there was one day out of that week (Friday) where they paid a LOT of attention to her.

Yeah...I *THINK* she got a new wig...She hung up her Mama costume for 12 years, and brought it out in '02 to start her Two Woman Show...

I saw her Two Woman Show live, and her wig is also shiny...It's almost blinding. :lol:
