Is there a theme that goes with this marathon, or is it just a random episode marathon? I can't find a common theme with it other than it being Full House. ;)

That's not really a theme, that's what I wrote, since all the episodes are from Season 8(virtually the whole season is shown except for the Christmas episode, Valentine's episode, and the three final episodes)

That's a good selection. Except why are they only playing eighth season episodes? You'd think during a marathon like that, they'd show some earlier eps.

Because ABC Family has an obsession with Mary Kate-Ashley. They are showing 2 movies they made following the marathon. The early episodes don't have Michelle as a prominent character.
