If Roseanne were to have a spinoff what would it be?

I read somewhere that they were obviously trying to start a spinoff with all the Beauty Parlor episodes. And I agree because after that Hair episode it seemed they were. But I think it would've been a good spinoff, Crystal having a spinoff or Becky and Mark in Minnesota would've been good too.

I highly doubt the beauty parlor episodes were supposed to be pilots for a new series. Though, those were good short term characters, especially Iris.

I could see Darlene and David in a spin off.

I'd love a Darlene and David spin off with Harris. Roseanne could be a guest star.

I thought that the beauty parlor shop would have been a great spinoff. The charactors were so devoloped that I sure they were trying to start it off as a spin off. Also I think that Crystal or Jackie would have made good spin offs.

I would have liked a Darlene and David spin-off. Young married couple with a new baby...Darlene trying to finish college, David trying to make it...I think it could have been really good.

There was talk about a David and Darlene spin-off but Sara and Johnny didn't want to do it right then. But I would have loved it if that had happened however, since they were my favorites.

I missed Crystal, too bad she wasn't used much during the last years of the show. She was definitely material for a spin-off....Remember the annoying neighbors ?(I know Cathy was the wife). I used to think they would've been good in their own show, but after watching the re-runs, Cathy was annoying as anything, and that would eventually wear thin from week to week. The guys at the beauty shop would've been cool in their own show, but Mrs. Wellman was just downright obnoxious!

There should be one called Becky and Mark where they own a 50s type restaurant like in Happy Days.

The trouble with a Darlene/David or Becky/Mark spinoff would be, of course, that the final episode revealed it was really Darlene/Mark and Becky/David.

In the Mark & Becky Show, Becky can be done by Sarah Chalke or Lecy Goranson and Mark can be done by Colin Farrell, cool eh?

I vote for a Darlene and David spinoff, forget the finale because it would be as if Roseanne wrote a sequal or something except for that it was about her daughter trying to make it in life with her new family.

The Bowman's would never have made it, but how about Ty, Charolete, and Molly?

What about a spinoff called the Lunchbox? After season 9 where Roseanne gave the diner to Leon and Nancy. Leon and Nancy always tryying to make it with the diner, hiring new people and stuff. The whole family could guest star. Then they should bring back Crystal as a partner or something. Just an idea.

I have to disagree here. So many hit shows make spin-offs that don't work (i.e., Three's Company/The Ropers/Three's A Crowd, Alice/Flo, Barney Miller/Fish, etc.) that I am glad that Roseanne didn't fall into this category.

Another old topic back from the dead. I think Bonnie would have made an interesting spin off, since after the Season 4 finale, we never heard anything about her.

I thought it would have been great if they would have done a Nana Mary spin-off I just don't think during the run of the show they should spin-off any major characters. And Nana Mary wasn't really a major character. It would have also been nice if there was another spin-off that Roseanne had when Roseanne ended. You know how like what they did with Archie Bunker's Place after All in the Family ended.
