The episode when James didn't want to borrow money from Florida's Rich Cousins, could have possibly been the Jeffersons. They were rich and both shows were on CBS at the time. Anyone think it would have worked?

I guess so, since Mike Evans was co-creator of Good Times, one of the cast members of The Jeffersons and the fact that the the two series, in addition to Maude, were all spun out of one show: All in the Family.

Tara let me see how good your vision is, there were two Good Times episodes the Jeffersons were seen in. Do you know atleast one out of the two they were seen in?

It would have been a good connection and also explain why Florida and James were in New York if they had relatives there.

Personally I thought tht was a stupid episode! If you HAVE rich relatives OFFERING to give you financial help!! Why not take it!?

It would have also shown that Esther and Isabel were two different people, so people wouldn't have confused the two. ;)

If The EVans had stayed in Harlem and lived in the projects, they could have been the old neighborhood friends of the George and Louise from Harlem in the Jeffersons Episode when the old neighbors come to visit.

If the location had not changed then it would have made a little sense. But living in Chicago-FORGET IT. That has to go fown as one of the biggest blunder in Sitcom History.

I agree they should've kept them in the projects of Harlem, but since this was Eric Monte's baby, I guess he wanted to keep it true to his roots.

O.K my point was made! That was stupid! I can have pride in being broke but not go out and rob a bank! BUT If somebody's gonna give me bank, I can still have my pride and be better financially!! Alright!!!:D

Didn't it turn out the rich cousins were rich no more? This could not have been the case with the Jeffersons.

I was saying keeping the story line that the cousins are rich instead of not working.
