I think the voice-overs by the different characters during this episode are a riot. I love how on the train, no one really wants to be living together again ("Peekskill, the dullest town on the face of the planet." "I give us two weeks."). And then at the end, we hear more thoughts when Mrs. Garrett starts giving them a pep talk ("I feel another speech coming." "I love you, Mrs. Garrett. Please keep it short."). And Tootie's thoughts always match what she's saying out loud. It's one of the few times, especially later in the series, that the writers acknowledge that the living situation is unusual, and that the girls may be getting tired of it.

YEAH, I liked the voice-overs too. I was cracking up at everything they said, and it was funny how Tootie always thinks what she says. I also was laughing about how Natalie was so obsessed about getting to go on her trip, she was funny in this ep http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif
This episode is a really good one for all the girls, including Mrs. G.

Jo: Why would Tootie do something like that?

Blair: WHY? I know why. To make a fool of Blair Warner, that's why.

Jo: You don't need Tootie for that.

I loved this episode too! The frog quote with Blair is hilarious and all of Nat's thoughts on the train.....it's sad when we see Edna's Edibles in ruins, but then begins the era of Over Our Heads!! Bring on seasons 6-9 N@N!!!

Nat: Who wants to be a skinny pencil? I'd rather be a happy magic marker!

Blair: Blow it out your track shoes!

Tootie: ...the thrill of victory and the agony of Da-Feet!

Jo: Here's to all who wish me well, all the rest can go to...JERSEY!

Mrs.G.: May God bless all your footsteps (from her last episode)

IMO, I think that the most funny scene in this episode was when Tootie shows Jo that keychain that helps find your keys.I have one of those, they don't work as well as Tootie says,LOL. Everytime I'm in an auditorium...BEEP, BEEP, BEEP

Very well said, TV Guy! Those voice overs added some of the biggest laughs to the episode. Anyone who has ever roomed with friends knows little dialogs like that by heart! Of course, Tootie is so genuine that her thoughts and feelings always match. Not so with the older girls -- "Here we go with the kids again..." & "Tell me she didn't shop all summer?" <grin>

Sure they get on each others nerves but deep down they come through for one another. "Mr. Frog! A brand new Mr. Frog!!"

It's a representation of the mid to late 80's. That's all it could be is bright and perky..

WHERE DO YOU GET THOSE????????
I lose my keys all the time!

BTW, I love this episode too. I taped it the other night. I like the part with the 'black spots' in the photo album. Whatever happened to Natalie's cheery disposition?

I know. Those were both funny scenes, especially when the guy looks at tootie and says to himself "I wonder where she's keeping her money".
