although I agree that the Mrs. G years were the best, I'm glad that Nick is not discarding the Cloris seasons just like they discarded the post-Richie seasons of Happy Days, the latter seasons of Jeffersons and basically any All In The Family episode past 1974 or so (and it ran until 1983!!!)

Actually, after 1980, it wasn't All in the Family, it was a completely different show, Archie Bunker's Place. And they DID show all the seasons of All in the Family. Remember, they showed Mike and Gloria leave in the last season (I was so happy, I absolutely hate Rob Reiner), and they showed when little Stephie was there. Anyway, I am glad they're showing the Cloris Leachman episodes. I've only seen two (the last two) episodes with her, and I want to see more. I mean, I'm sure Beverly Ann isn't half as good as Mrs. Garrett, but I loved Clorsi Leachman in Mary Tyler Moore, maybe I'll like her in FOL, too.

"Well, Laverne is sort of childish"

"Childish? Childish? COming from a grown woman who throws tea parties for her stuffed cat!"

"Well at least I don't sew L's on everything I wear!"

"Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!"

NAN will air the last 2 seasons of FOL. Maybe people liked Cloris during the 80's as Beverly Ann. As far as All in the Family goes, it was not a completely different show. Yes. There were changes but due to Jean Stapleton leaving. It was the same show with a makeover and a new title "Archie Bunker's Place" which was appropriate since Athe action shifted over to the bar. I read some proof that it was still tied in as the same show:

A 1980 article for TV guide had asked the question:
"As the 11th season opens, Archie faces life without Edith. Will he make it? "

Around this time, the show was under the new title "Archie Bunker's Place" People think of this as a spinoff, but it is a continuation of All in the Family just with a different title. It wouldn't make sense to keep the same name if there was no Edith, Mikeand Gloria. There are other sources that prints info stating the show ran from 1971-1983. However since things were different and the show ran long, it was split into 2 packages. Well enough about All in the Family, this is supposed to be about the Facts of Life. I apologize Todd!
Take it easy!

I don't think you guys should be too concerned with them not showing the Facts of Life Goes to Paris yet. It's only been on the air for like 3 months now, they don't want to show us EVERYTHING right away, they want to leave us begging for more. I have a feeling they'll get around to everything eventually.

Sean Snow, please don't bring up old topics that deal with the schedule from last December! It will only confuse people, thanks!
