I live in North Carolina too! I live in Surry County and every one here is going NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!! My uncle's birthday is on Super Bowl Sunday and he is like really excited. Personally, I'm not into the Super Bowl, but this year, I would like to watch it! I'm really glad the Panthers got to the Super Bowl!
At the school I go to, our mascot is the Patriot & our last basketball game was against the Piney Grove Panthers.
It was really weird!!!!
Our principal said that it was like a mini-super bowl and then my friend said if we win today maybe the loser will win the super bowl! The Patriots won that basketball game. Hmm... wonder who will win?

I'll be rooting for the Pats, I call the final score as 21-17.

Panthers have an brillant defense that won their three play-off games and Patriots have a great offense despite with the exception of Tom Brady, no-household names but still, very effective!! But Panthers will come from behind like they always have!! Panthers over Patroits 20-19!

Best thing for the Panthers to do is go into the half down 7-0. If NE scores another TD before the Half, i'm pushing the stop button on my vcr

7-6 and Panthers have the ball....hopefully they'll score again and win the game.

No N.E. swival kicked the kickoff and Carolina got it at the 50 and then they kicked a FG so its 14-10 at halftime. Good game.

New England was lucky on that first down call...

I think the only way the Panthers can win this game is to go up 17-14. If they get down 21-10 then it's over

You got to give the Panthers alot of credit and respect they are showing big time heart. Who knows if the Pats let them hang around long enough they just might pull off the upset..

The Carolina Defense has played well aside from that big pass play. Even if they lose they have had a great season.

The Carolina defense is getting tired. If the offense doesn't do something N.E. could blow them out in the 4th Quarter.

If they score another TD, i would o for 2 points again, i think since it's the last game of the yeAr, just go for the win instead of the tie. I don't see the point in going to OT in the Superbowl. Then again, NE may have too much time to drive down the field.

Even though the game is tied at 29, Tom Brady has too much time to drive down and get a wining FG. NE WINS 32-29
